"Gedanken sind zollfrei"
"Thoughts are not subject to duty"

~Martin LUTHER

the world is a rather interesting place, for within its seemingly boundless parameters, there exists a multitude of magnificent wonders and marvels unseen elsewhere in human imagination. earth breeds thought, creativity, song and imagination. it is therefore a wonder to me that we, the human race, continue to pillage, plunder, and rape mother earth in the vain quest for improvement, when, we are destroying ourselves at the same time. after all, what are we without creativity, and what is creativity without a world to inspire it?

and yet, in this world of seeming limitless creativity, i lose myself in its beauty and wonders. it is, after all, a world with limitless possibilities, and how is that not baffling? i see trees, flowers plants, and i gain an intangible knowledge through these experiences. some old philosophers may chastise me, saying "all your knowledge is innate, and you will learn nothing over the course of your lifetime", but i disagree, for, if we learn nothing, why are we here? without purpose? certainly not. our purpose is to learn, and to learn is to experience. learn, and be the better for it. be swept off your feet by waves of enlightenment, and maroon yourself in a sea of knowledge, for our lives are ones of inadequecy, and all our accomplishments are moot if we do not pause and reflect on who, what, where and how we are. please let me give you some insight into the human condition. learn with me. welcome to the sidewalk philosopher's website.
