California Championship Series #3

California Championship Series 3 brought out a good field of racers for a fun day of racing under the warm sun, on yet another new downhill course at West LA College.

In stock gravity bike Tara Tapparo was the first woman competitor in the sport's 30 year history, and John Travis Hans came all the way from Louisiana for the race. But Jason Johnson again prevailed, and then carried on to win the 3/4 fairing race as well. In inline, Scott Peer took another win, with Rob and Warren besting Mark for the next podium spots.

In buttboard Jason won yet again.

Street luge had Marcus racing for his first time in years, and Bob Ozman in his first race since his injury. After 3 runs the group was in a three way tie, and then in the tiebreaker Bob Ozman showed his winning form, teaming with Marcus to squeeze Jason out for the win.
