Artist StatementI am a native Missourian, born in Springfield, raised and currently residing in Kansas City. In addition to my photography, I am a mother and a lifelong student. The photographs I create are passionate expressions of Kansas City, the State of Missouri, and the Midwest. My intent is to share the complexity of life as revealed by the simple photograph: The mysteries of nature become a permanent record of a moment in time that can convey space, texture, climate, motion, and the human drama. |
