Here's a picture of Jean Luc. Jean Luc joined the family when Rondell and I got married. He's an adorable little Cocker Spaniel who really needs to lose some weight. Rondell claims he's big boned, but he's got so much extra weight on him that one cannot even feel his ribs. The vet agrees with me, so the dear boy is on a diet. He's actually making progress, and there are times now that I think I can see his waist.
Jean Luc is about 13 years old, so he's the old man in the house. He tolerates the rest of the lot, enjoys playing with the puppies, but is quick to let them know when he's had enough. He a lovable guy who thinks the best thing in life is to fetch a ball till your arm falls off or chew on a rawhide bone while laying on your feet. Jean Luc have been responsible for helping us raise three puppies now. He took care of Tarragon, and he's been helping with the two newest additions, Cyanne and Cilantro. Only problem with the boy is that he's not a happy traveler. He seems to think that he needs to let you know that he's not happy, and he whines the entire trip. Our response, upon consultation with the vet, is to give him a chewable banedril. It takes the edge off and puts him to sleep. |
