Well guess what ladies and germs, apparently we did so well at the BATTLE OF THE BANDS the other night at Loyola, that they decided to give us another gig. We're playing LOYOLAPOLOOZA baby! Our next will be our second stint in the nation's captial, at American University in NW DC. We're playing with The Gamma Rays and The Shakedowns also, so a good time will be had by all. Well after finding the Electric Maid, we played the fastest set of our lives, and it turned out ok. Thanks to the guys who let us play and Mike Sarcastic for getting us in there in the first place. The Gamma's rocked house and did a whole bunch of Ramones tunes in their set. We hope to come back down and rock the Maid next year.

Ok everyone, here it is... the LAST SHOW of the semester. We're finally playing outside of Baltimore too, venturing down to Takoma Park, which I'm told is just outside of DC and 10 mins from College Park. We're rocking out with THE GAMMA RAYS once again, so you know it's gonna be a good time. I expect to you there, especially those people who say "well I don't live close to Baltimore so I havent come to any of your shows." Well guess what?? You have NO EXCUSE to miss this show, cause I know for sure no one will be studying for a final exam or some bullshit like that on a Friday night. So just be there, and we'll even give you a free cd. Hello kids, eric here. I would like to thank everybody that made it out to the loyola coffee house show, we had mucho fun. Thank you Ten Watch and The Gamma Rays for coming out and rocking w/ us. Talking about The Gamma Rays, we are playing w/ them again on Dec 13th at Takoma Park.... somewhere outside of DC. Im looking forward to it b/c it'll be our first time at this venue. Hey everyone, Gabe here. Well, apparently we aren't going to be playing Sidebar, at least not this Tuesday. But let's not get discouraged now, we'll have other shows. In fact we're playing the Thunderdome in November. You know who else played the Thunderdome before...Motorhead. How cool is that?!? And just in case you can't wait that long to get another hit of sideproject, download some of our new mp3s in the audio section. They still need some mixing, but they still rock.

Summer's finally over, thank god, now we can get back to the music. And to start things off right, we're playing a show the first day of school, well the first day of school for me and eric that is. So come check it out, this wednesday night at Winchester's Comedy Club (102 Water Street - Downtown Baltimore). We're playing with Die Cheerleader Die and Ten Watch, so it's bound to be a good time. WOW ! A whole month without any updates at all, how many bands can do that (disregard the fact that the Saves the Day official website hasnt been updated since last septemember, haha). We wanted to keep things going this summer, you know, play some shows even without gabe, just to keep things going... yeah, that didnt happen. Mind you the summer isnt completely over, but in no time we'll be back in school. The only thing that we've gotten done so far this summer is record our demo. Now note that I said we've RECORDED it, and haven't even started to mix it yet... Every week we plan on going and getting it done, but every week our producer keeps putting it off, and its so lame. We're taking what should have been a project that would at most span over one week, and have spread it across more than a month. Well, hopefully it'll sound alright, and we can get things really rolling again once school starts up. Gabe will be back then anyways, so its all for the better.
And to celebrate sideproject's "coming out of the closet (thats the closet of unactivity)", we got a show at Winchester's on August 28th !!! That's right, we do plan on playing out again! So far, it's just us and Ten Watch, but check back for more details on that. Hope your summer isn't sucking as much as ours.

Well we've been a bit reclusive for the past month, just winding down from this past semester of fun and finally going back home for the summer. But we just got out of the studio last weekend, Gabe was good enough to come down and record, and me and eric are going back in next week to finish up the mixing. This EP should blow away our previous recordings, featuring our favorite new songs and two oldies. I made a design for the cover that I haven't shown the other guys yet, so I'll just post it up here and see when they notice, haha. More info on the EP is coming within the next week, so come back soon.

Last night's show at Winchester's was pretty fun, a bigger turnout than expected, I think it went over well. The first band, Ten Watch, was cool (P.S. - if you guys from Ten Watch see this, could you send your email address for the mailing list again, I can't read what you wrote on the paper, haha), as were the Gamma Rays.

welp, it's about that time of the year again... summer. Gabe is going to be heading back to his hometown New York early may and we most likely won't see him for the whole summer. Like last year, we're going to have Mike to fill in for gabe while he is away. We're working on getting into a studio before gabe leaves though, later on today us kids are going to check out the studio where 3prongoutlet *awesome pop-punk band* is currently recording. but yea... that's the plan right now... try to get a cd out and promote the band over the summer time. im just hoping for the best over the summer time.

Sup people. i don't know if anybody is aware but the stupid namezero banner is gone. Namezero threaten that if we don't pay $20, then they'll shut down our domain name. Well, I registered this domain name for a year so I won�t be receiving anymore threats from them anymore nor do we have to see the namezero banner anymore. We�ve been really kicking into gear lately with getting shows... writing songs.. stickers.. etc. First off, we have two shows lined up right now. First show is going to take place at the ten car pile up on March 23rd� the show is still up in the air� more info to come later. 2nd show is going to be held at caf� tattoo on April 7th with Out of Line, Laughing Stock, Yours Truly, Better than you, and 3 Prong Outlet. Hey, look an update every month on the same day, sorta... nevermind. Anyways, practice has been very good to us lately and we're really getting somewhere. We now have 3 complete new songs, and one more that Eric is till writing lyrics for. I think you'll all be surprised too, b/c these songs seem to be quite a bit different from our normal writing styles... ok, so maybe its only this one song we wrote that sounds different... but its the same point. We've also been scouting for shows, all of which we've had no luck so far. And we've been in a sticker designing crisis for the past 2 months or so, not being able to decide on what logo to use.

Hello all. Hopefully the new year has been treating you well so far, becuase I think that we too have had fortune smile upon us, at least a little bit. We now have a better, and more importantly, CLOSER place to practice, which is always good. And since Gabe got back from winter break, we've had 2+ practices already, which is quite astonishing for our lazy selves. We also have a few new songs down, including a belated christmas song, and another tune I like to call an Anti-Flag rip-off song, haha. Eric says he's talking with Ten Car Pile-Up about a show in April if not sooner, and Gabe is talking with a band about us playing with them at the Recher Theatre, ironically enough both places are right across the street from one another. And if that wasn't enough, we're hoping for a short-spanned summer tour. Check back in soon for more exciting news!

I highly encourage you people to catch their next show. They are definitely worth seeing and it was definitely cool playing with them at the sidebar. The Sidebar show was pretty good, and we learned to never play The Theme Fiasco ever again in public, haha. just got back from subway, mmmm... meagan makes the best turkey breast sub. :) anyway, we're having practice tonight and im hoping we'll get a lot done tonight. we have a lot of catching up to do still... we have to get back in shape within a month for the upcoming loyola show. I really have to get back into singing a full setlist again. it seems as though i can't sing a fullset without my head looking like a exploding tomato. I guess the cigarettes aren't helping much either. im going to cut down on smoking.... someday. hehe. anyway, GABE is getting a new bass! well, he has been going on about getting a new one for months now so who knows what he is going to do. he told us he'll definitely have a new one by the next show. So that means we can smash his old bass at our next show! who's with me?!

hello. it's been awhile since the last update so im going to fill you all in on what has been happening. so yea... first off... nothing has been going on since the last update. haha. second, rob, gabe and i had been slacking off the whole summer... that explains the lack of updates. Basically we lost our old practice space, it's been like this for the past two months. During the summer i've been writing new songs. i can't wait until our next practice so we can work on the new tunes. Rob is currently working on getting the practice space. Right now, our last resort is Mr. Perry's house *rob's dad*. I seriously hope this all goes well considering we don't have any other options. yea... we're a bunch of retards.

Damn, it's already half way through July, and we havent done shit this summer. Well we do have a few new songs coming along, but practices have been few and far between considering all our equipment has been over rich's house since the 4th of July. But we are finally moving it back to mike's house tonite, so the practicing will commence very soon.... at least that's the idea. Greetings from NY everyone. Just wanted to tell you all that I'm not going anywhere. Things are going good. I got this really laid back job at this accounting firm putting files away and what-not. At least I ain't working at Best Buy. Thank God! I've been to a few shows, learned a couple of things on bass, and am currently planning a trip. I'm thinking Maryland, but who knows. I hear the beaches are great. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a Sideproject reunion in the horizon. Keep checking the our site for more details. But before I gotta get back to work, just a few things I wanted to clear up right now. For one, no matter how much Eric wishes, I am not gay. And two, his mom is definitely a babe.

Vote for logo D!!!! hehe. well, it's 3:38AM right now.... rob and i are chill'in in his room trying to write some new tunes. actually, we're just playing tetris on his computer. We're also talking about movies right now as well.... Catz&Dogz.... funny ass preview...coming to a theather near you! Anyway, BIG NEWS! well, sorta... gabe is coming back in mid july to visit.. i think. Well, i talked to him a couple of days ago and he seems to be doing fine. He's doing some dumb stupid job up in NY filing papers and stuff. yea.. what fun. Mike from Cindy's Basement is going to take gabe's place on bass till the end of the summer, since gabe is in New York and all. Mike is a cool guy and im glad he is filling in for us. I just want to apolgizie for everyone that came out to the Kalideoscope on the 19th to see us. We were forced to pack up because of the little power outage. We played for umm...30 seconds i think. yea, not even a whole song and 'mary' asked us to just pack it up. ANYWAY, we do have upcoming shows so stay tune.

It seems like we might have a show on May 11th over in essex. An awesome chick in my Visual Basic class is having a party and she invited us to play so that is very cool of her. We are going back into the studio tomorrow to remix the demo cd. Hopefully it'll be done by tomorrow night so we have cds ready for our next couple of shows.
