There are lots of places in Side to change

sterling and travellers cheques. You can go to

the bureau de exchange in the street & some

restaurants will change travellers cheques, if

you require to pay the bill this way.

The currency is Turkish Lira and last year

(2000) we got about TL 980,000,00 per £

sterling. If you wish to take Turkish currency

with you, it is advisable to take only the

minimum you require, because you will get a far

better exchange rate over in Turkey than in the

UK. Turkey now accepts most credit cards.

value for money.
