Introduction to the holiday resort of Side

Side is situated on a peninsula that is approximately one kilometre wide and four hundred meters wide. Side is supposedly meant to be where Cleopatra and Antony met. In roman times Side was used as one of the major ports. This is why you can find many roman remains,
such as the Temple of Apollo and the Amphitheatre. There are also a lot more famous ruins to see in Side.

Side has a couple of disco's, and nightlife can be as lively as you choose to make it, because their are plenty of bars mostly playing English music. They are also catching on with Karaoke.

If you fancy exploring, then there are plenty of boat trips from the harbour.
