The MiG 29 Fulcrum is a formidable presencein the race of air superiority. It is a fourth-generation fighter plane. It has eight pylons, including the wingtip pylons. It resembles the Su 27, but is much smaller than the Flanker. It has limited AG capability and has high cockpit workload. It is also often compared to its closest western rival- the F-16 Fighting Falcon ( Ill be soon adding a gallery of F-16 pics).

   Flight sims on the Fulcrum:

Only one-by Novalogic, but that's in a word-easy to fly, and unrealistic ( that's two words already), but it is, I must profess, REAL FUN!!

Gallery:

I've got some cool MiG 29 ( mostly Indian Air Force) pics with me. Feast your eyes on 'em.

This is not an IAF MiG 29. Observe the R-73 AAM on the pylon. ( longer one)

That's formation-flying ala the indomitable IAF

How the heck did they take the pic?

That's flying by the Rooskies!

The Red Air Force shore knows how to show off

Boom! Boom! Out go the lights!  Collision in mid-air!!

This is a MiG 29 M cockpit, with a reinforced undercarriage and MFDs to lower cockpit workload. Wouldn?t u like to hold that flightstick!?
