The Paul Proske Resource Center and Talking Book Library was officially opened to SICIL consumers who have successfully completed the Basic Computer Course. Funding for the project was generously provided by The Northfield Savings Bank.
The new Center features three Windows XP computers configured with assistive technology such as screen readers, magnification and scanning software for blind and low vision users.
The Talking Book Library is loaded with 2 and 4 sided cassette novels from a wide variety of authors including: Clancy; Patterson; Ludlum; Cornwell and many more. They can be borrowed or read here on a special reader provided by The Andrew Heiskell Library.
