OUR GROUP'S ROWBOAT
One part of our group
project was a rowboat. In order to make it,we split the labor.
Basically Anna and Amber concentrated on
the rowboat part of the project, while Fritz and Mike worked on
the motor and altered the rowboat to make the motorboat.
In order to make the
rowboat, Anna used the Pro-Engineer computer program. She made a
blend, protrusions, circles, holes, etc to
achieve something that was the following:
In this illustration,
one can see the axis of each oar-holder, the datum planes,
and the coordinate plane for the boat.
Amber concentrated on making the paddles, which was harder than one would think. She used a combination of cuts, protrusions, and blends on the Pro-E program to complete the paddles.
We then put the two parts together, changed colors, made the illustrations solid, and came up with our final rowboat.
