| The apartment | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| I now live in Newtown, or Erskineville to be precise. Sydney Park Village is the name of the complex. It is very luxury, with a lap pool, gym, outdoor pool and tennis court. Plus a 24/7 convenience store and two caffees. Flatemate Wendy has lived in Amsterdam for two years, which is nice. We get along well, she's nice and funny and we share a lot of interest. Plus: we both like having candles, incense and buddha statues around, so it was like I walked into my own room when I first got here. |

| Downstairs are the bedrooms and bathrooms. Upstairs is a huge living room with kitchen as well as a big balcony (with barbie!). From the balcony, we look at the pool and some other buildings in the middle. On the right there is a great view of the city. It's a five minute walk to King Street, which already has become my favourite street in Sydney. Loads of cafees and funky shops. Also full of yummie men, most of them gay unfortunately. |
