My name is Jennie, I lost my 19 year old brother Shane October 27, 1997. It has been one of the hardest things I have ever been through. I have found that it helps to talk about my feelings, especially with someone who has been through the same thing, someone who understands. Though the pain has not diminished in the least, it has gotten easier to deal with as I learn how to cope. I have started this group for us siblings who have been left behind. It is for any age, any cause of death, because no matter what, when we lose a brother or sister, we lose a part of ourselves and it hurts.
