SETTLEMENT


The district of Sibiu is situated in the centre of ROMANIA, in the South - East of Transylvania.

The geographical centre of the country is localized at Dealul Frumos (The Beautiful Hill), near the town Agnita. It lies between the parallels 45⁰30' and 46⁰17' northern latitude and the meridians 23⁰54' and 24⁰57'.

Area: 5.422 km², representing 2,3 percents from the country's area.
