   For this purpose, Alpha Phi Omega, an international collegiate fraternity and sorority came into being on December  16, 1925 at La Fayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania USA.

   As a school-based fraternal organization, Alpha Phi Omega serves to enrich the lives of college students by creating meaningful service programs that seek to develop leadership and create life long friendship among its members.

What does Alpha Phi Omega Stand For?

   Alpha Phi Omega is founded in the three cardinal principles of leadership, friendship and service as embodied on the worldwide Scouting movement.

   We believe in upholding freedom as our national, educational and intellectual heritage.

   As such, Alpha Phi Omega is actually a fraternity bound by the spirit of scouting and volunteerism.

 How can we join?

   Membership is open to any student enrolled on a campus where a chapter exists and is subsequently approved for membership by that chapter.

   The Chapter existing in the city are Gamma Delta in Urios College, Theta Tau in Saint Joseph Institute of Technology and Theta Xi in Normisist.

   All applicants must have good scholastic records and be of sound moral character.

What can Alpha Phi Omega do for you?

   College should be more than the acquisition of facts and figures; it should also broaden your experience, expand and test your inherent abilities and sharpen your social skills.

   Our program of service can add the necessary but often lacking aspect college life-and at the same time enable you to help others while helping yourself!

Service: Our Middle Name

   As an International Service Fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega is the only fraternity with service as its primary mission.

   While there is a great diversity in the types of service programs conducted from chapter to chapter, they all serve to make up a great national ministry to human need, conducted exclusively by college students.

   Alpha Phi Omega’s program is directed to four areas.

  • Nation

  • Youth and Community

  • Student body and Faculty

  • Members

   All Chapters are Encouraged to develop service projects that will be beneficial to these groups.

  • Join the orientation specified on the date below.
