This plugin helps in previewing eMule's partially downloaded media files in VideoLAN Client (VLC) Media Player. With this plugin installed, VLC skips over the empty sections of eMule's temporary download files and displays all available sections in one seamless pass without having to go through and process the garbage data in regions that are not yet downloaded, and you don't have to manually seek within the file yourself for finding the available parts.
Please select the correct plugin below that matches the version of VLC Media Player you are using. Instructions for installing and using the plugin are included in each archive.
There are also two forum threads for the partfile plugin in the Official eMule-Board, one in the Development section (requires forum registration to read) and another in the Support section. Please post your questions, requests, bug reports etc. to the eMule Board, and preferably to the development thread. Don't send questions to the VideoLAN team or the VideoLAN Forums about the plugin; they won't be able to help you much since the plugin is an independent effort, and is developed outside the VideoLAN community.
