Harlequin Dutch
My first Harlequin litter out of chex and Dallas!
My start in the beautiful and rare Harlequin Dutch came from Patti McCoy of Windhaven Rabbitry in California. Lines include Windhaven, Lisa's, BBB's, and Jill's Wild. Good foundation stock. Although not a recognized variety yet, there is a working standard and a new presentation is being put forth to the board. I should have a litter as early as the end of september.
The Boys:
Lisa's Rio Samba
aaBbCCD_ejej
Vs. Tigger X BBB's Peach
This boys claim to fame in my barn is that he is a chocolate carrier. Body type and marking are good, and he's well behaved.
Jack's Imhotep
AaBBCCD_ejej
Rios Dallas X Windhavens Chex
The more he matures, the more I like him. Currently the herd buck, I love this guys type! The kit's I'm getting off of him also are looking quite good, I'm excited to see how they fill out.
Does:
Windhavens Roxy
AaBbCCD_ejej
Vs. Tigger X Rios Angie Mia
My top doe! Well marked minus the bit of extra colour behind the ear. Also very well marked harlequin wise aswell with good colour. Another chocolate carrier and has strong type.
Lisa's Marigold
aaB_CCD_ejej
Vs. Tigger X BBB's Peach
Although she is the smallest doe I have and on the angular side, she is constantly producing well marked kits by both Dutch and Harlequin standards.
Jack's Isis
AaB_CCD_ejej
Rios Dallas X Windhavens Chex
I'm holding judgment on this doe. She's got a nice body and a decent head, but he main claim to fame is that her father is still in Califormia. I am Trying her with Christopher first then likely marmaduke although that may just make for bad salddles!
