| Tragically in 2005, 2 of the Sibereclipse dogs were involved in a livestock attack on a sheep. The result was the death of a sheep, $6000 expenses to try to save the life of Taiga and the other dog involved. Unfortunately Taiga was captured at the scene and 5 months later destroyed by the council in Victoria after numerous attempts to negotiate for his life. This is the outcome which can arise from owning this breed and having them escape - which any husky owner will tell you can and will likely happen at some stage in the dogs life. Some are lucky to get them back and some, never do. I have now relocated overseas with one dog to save him from the same fate as Taiga. If he was caught by the council they would have destroyed him also. My dogs are the best 9 years of my life, and I hope you can see some of the joy they have bought me in the photos.
