| Often towed through Saxilby, the class 08 0-6-0 shunter was not seen so easily at Lincoln in the early 70�s. Lincoln�s `box' shunter allocation was mainly of class 10. Identical in appearance the class 10 had a different engine and transmission. The top left photo here shows 08102 at Lincoln in the 1980`s. In 1970 this position would usualy have belonged to a class 03 in the D202X series of numbers. | ||||||||||||||||
