Music is 311's first release on a major scale record label. This CD completely captures the rawness and angst of butting 20 year olds. The CD is basically non-stop action. It features some great hard and fast songs, then some great mellow and soft songs.
Music doesn't have a real meaning in general. I guess if 311 were to ever have a true meaning to their CDs it would be to live life to the fullest. They are a happy go lucky band and this CD really captures that happy go lucky-ness. Their general meaning behind their CDs is life is to short to live it angry (although sometimes there aren't any other alternatives).
The best songs on this CD are Unity, Nix Hex, and Plain. Yet again this is another CD that is just spectacular and is definately in the top 3 of 311's best albums... and let me tell you they sure do have a lot of albums.
