Siam Shade is a J-Rock band who have five very talented members: Hideki, Kazuma, Natin, Daita, and Junji. They've been around since 1991. Hideki and Natin are the only two original members left in the band. They used to be in a support unit for LUNA SEA until they decided to break off and form their own band. The other members of the original group were To, Ataru and A. Kazuma joined the band in late 1992 and later, in July of 1993, Daita joined. The band lineup was finalized in May of 1994 when Junji became the new drummer. Before Junji joined, they had released various demo tapes and a free cd single, "LIGHT FOR CLOSED YOUR EYES". On October 12, 1994, they released their first album, SIAM SHADE, which reached number 2 on the Oricon charts. And in 1995, they were signed to SME records. Their first single, "RAIN", was released in October and was quickly followed by their first major album, SIAM SHADE II.

     Siam Shade is a band of lively up-beat songs. Their songs are never the same and range from lively almost pop-rock songs to metallic rock songs. During their early years, their songs were similar to Luna Sea's, L'arc'en'cial's, and Hide's style. Soon, they developed their own styles, however, and started releasing great hits and performing many live concerts. The members are extremely talented and are the best you may ever hear. Although they aren't as popular as Kinki Kids, Hamasaki Ayumi, Hikaru Utada, and Glay, they're more talented with their style and creative with their music, in my opinion.
