Siamese Kittens should be together for at least 16 to 18 weeks to allow for their social development. Social development will follow them through their entire lifeit will determine if they are playful, loyal, fun-loving and most importantly, full of love to give to their favorite person. These three kittens were from the same litterthey were together until the age of 5 months. Two have chosen to be show girls while the other chose to be a home kittyshe lives happily with her new family in Virginia.
I feel that it is the mothers responsibility to wean her babiesmost of the time this works out. As you can see, these kittens are still clinging to momand, mom seems to like it. When they are too old, their mom will let them know that the snack bar is closed. If kittens are removed from their mom too early it can effect their social development and cause shyness, lack of personality, and poor health and development. All three of these kittens have no problems with being fun-loving and outgoing.
Our Siamese live free to roam in my home. They are clean cats and with normal house keeping they can be undetectable by the average visitor. They do not like homes that are not clean. Most problems with cats that are not clean arise from the environment in which they were raiseda dirty environment will produce a cat whose habits are not appropriatepoor litter box habits are one major problem. Cats like clean litter pans and Siamese will refuse to use a dirty one! At least they wont like it if the pan is not sparkling clean!
Kittens from the same litter generally hang out together. This is one litter, Rosealee, Leggs and Curly Sue aka Miss Madison (She lives in Fairfax, Virginia and is the proud owner of Meredith Blankenstein) ![]()
