It was almost full dark as the assault began on Samboy. Paige watched through the scope of her rifle as Branks boys were caught by surprise by Riley's men. She grinned absently as the lot of them scattered and relayed there positions back to Sara. It was kind of weird, she thought, not being able to hear the teams down below communicating. She had the utmost confidence in Sara's ability and the thought to worry, in regards to tactical, never even crossed her mind.

What did cross her mind was what exactly the group of three men were doing behind the cover of the giant back hoe. "Alpha 2 & 3, your position has been compromised." Riley's voice came through to her.

Paige understood immediately as one of the men knelt down lifting something up on his shoulders.

"Fuck," Paige said grabbing the camera and tossing it into the bag. "Go, Jordan, they're gonna shoot something at us."

Jordan grabbed the entire laptop, wires and digicam and through them into the bag. "I got this," Paige said pushing her towards the other side of the roof. "Get going." Paige stood up glancing once more back at the ground. They were still fiddling with whatever they had, RPG most likely, but two of the men were stepping back. She didn't hesitate turning and running full speed after Jordan who was already at the ladder. Paige tossed the bag over without breaking her run, grabbed the curved railings and swung herself over the ledge.

The impact from whatever they had shot shook the building as Paige slammed into Jordan, who clutched the ladder. They scrunched their shoulders as little pieces of concrete showered lightly over them and Paige struggled to get a foot on the ladder. When she finally did she grinned at Jordan, "now THAT was fun!"

Jordan giggled back, "c'mon, let's go before they trap us up here."

Paige nodded and climbed over Jordan then scrambled down the ladder. Jordan followed as Paige collected the bag. "Anything broke?" Jordan asked.

Paige shrugged, "I dunno, not my shit."

Jordan nodded her agreement as Paige shook herself and tapped at the stupid throat thing. "Alpha 2, Tac 1, what is Alpha 1's location?"

There was a pause as Jordan and Paige looked around with their weapons up and back against the building wall. "Alpha 2 & 3 proceed to the south east perimeter."

"Negative Tac 1, what's Alpha 1's position?" she said with a slight hiss.

"Alpha 2&3 you have your orders," Gray's voice this time.

Paige laughed, "yeah, ok Tac 2."

Paige motioned for Jordan to follow as they moved towards the south east corner of the building having no intention of 'following orders'. Paige put the bag down and rummaged out for the camera and handed it over to Jordan. She then pointed to her eyes, made a fist, sign language for 'a', and then stuck up one finger. Jordan nodded and stood up peering around the corner. Paige crouched down doing the same but with her weapon.

"Alpha 2 & 3, Romeo 1," Riley's voice, quite excited came loudly over their ear comms. "We've got two on foot heading in your direction."

That could be a problem, Paige thought, considering they weren't where they were supposed to be. Jordan looked down at Paige then started to scan the area. "Alpha 3, got a visual..." Jordan hesitated. Paige also looked for the two runners but couldn't see them. Jordan cleared her throat, "two runners."

"Alpha 3, Alpha 2, retrieve them." Sara's calm voice relayed.

"Rocks," Paige grinned taking the camera from Jordan, who didn't look like she was concentrating, and zipped the bag shut. She pushed it against the building side, "lead the way," she said to Jordan.

Jordan took a breath and took off in the direction the runners went. They caught quickly to the two runners who were seemingly busy arguing over which way to go. Paige watched as the two split. "Got right," Paige said veering off from Jordan. She didn't know who they were but decided since she was bigger than Jordan it would only be fair for her to take the bigger runner.

The man was not used to running in the dark in the brush and Paige grinned as he looked back at his pursuer...RJ Branks, scum extraordinairre. He had reached one of the loading docks, still some distance from the water, it being low tide. He attempted to scramble up the wooden ladder and Paige laid a few rounds into the side of the wood stopping RJ immediately.

Paige moved closer shouting up at him, "climb down before I shoot you down," she threatened. She was still grinning, this was just too ironic.

RJ stiffened then slowly backed down the ladder until he was on the ground and facing her about ten yards away. He had a big shit eating grin on his face. "Sweet Melissa...I always knew there was something different about you."

Paige grinned back, "lay face down on the ground," she gestured with her gun.

He scoffed, "a FUCKING GIRL," he screamed at her. "Are you kidding me?" His hands went in the air with his frustration. "Fucking bitch, I knew I didn't like you for a reason."

Paige narrowed her eyes, her mind suddenly latching on an idea. She lowered her weapon, "you've got a real problem with women don't you?" He sneered at her. "I'll tell you what RJ," she said pulling the shoulder strap of her weapon off.

"What are you doing Alpha 2?" Sara's voice came over her comm though Paige could hear the hint of amusement in it.

"I'll give you one shot at me, how's that? We'll see how tough a guy you really are."

RJ narrowed his eyes thinking it over, but Paige knew he would take the bait, no way this egotistical bastard wouldn't. Though she was never one for hand to hand, and usually got her ass handed to her back at Section...he wasn't a Section type...hell, he was just a civilian. Paige was very confident a civilian would give her no trouble at all.

"Alright, bitch," he said advancing on her.

"Don't hurt him too bad, Alpha 2," Sara's voice came over as Paige grinned.

She tossed the weapon aside, moved one foot back, and fixed her gaze on him. He moved slowly, too slowly from what she was used to, and she saw it as if in slow motion. The way he clenched his right fist and began drawing it back still two steps from her. She waited until the last second before stepping fully to the side his fist missing her entirely. His momentum took him away from her as she grabbed his waist sending a knee deep into the side of his gut. He groaned loudly, but only for a moment as she grabbed his head and slammed his face into a drawn up knee. He grabbed his nose at it broke and sprayed blood everywhere. Paige pushed him down to the ground. She then calmly walked over to her weapon, wiped it off, shouldered it, and walked back over to him. She leaned down as he still moaned. He fixed his eyes on her as she grinned at him. "I may be just a girl," she said snickering at him, "but at least I don't fight like one."

He rolled his eyes attempting to kick out at her. Paige merely stepped out of the way giggling still and pulled the plastic ties out of her pocket. She rolled him on his stomach digging a knee deep into his back. She stretched his arms back fixing the black plastic ties tightly over his wrist until it dug into his flesh. She pulled on his arms making him stand and face her. "Tac 1, Alpha 2, target acquired and secured."

He leered at her as she stood to the side, "after you."

Paige walked slowly behind RJ as he trudged along dejectedly back towards building 127. She stopped him outside the last tree line, pushing him down to his knees and placing the muzzle of her weapon against his head. "Alpha 2, status?"

There was a few moments pause as Paige yawned absently. She was really tired now. "Alpha 2, everything's secure, take target to 127."

"Received," Paige said flatly pulling RJ up. She pushed him towards 127 as she saw Riley and suddenly wondered where Jordan was...

Riley was waiting with one of his team members who took RJ and led him off. Riley stayed and grinned at her.

"What?" she said grinning back.

"You guys did great, I can't wait to see the pics and video," he said.

"Ah, well, some good shots, I'm sure you'll find something worthy of putting these jabronies away for awhile."

"Let's hope so, it seems to get more difficult with every bust."

"Where's Jordy?" she asked looking around a bit.

He nodded his head, "bringing the other runner here."

"Oh," Paige said smiling, "and Baz?"

"We took him in first round, he practically ran at us once the bullets started flying. You'll be able to take him back with you, we've got him sequestered."

"He's alright though?" she asked.

"He's fine. His hands are a bit messed up, I think from digging around in the sand, but nothing major."

"Cool," she said absently.

"You guys work well together...I have to say I am impressed."

Paige smiled kicking some dirt around absently, "thanks."

They both leaned against the building waiting for Jordy...
