Samboy Aggregates 1815hrs "Go Jordan, they're gonna shoot something at us." Paige told her. Moving into action, she grabbed the computer equipment and looked around, seeing if there was anything else she could carry. Paige, however, pushed her towards the ladder, telling her to get going and that she did. She wondered how their position has been compromised, how did they know? They sure as hell hadn't brought along a flashing sign saying that they were here. Pulling the bag onto her shoulder she quickly glanced at Paige who was moving towards her. She went over the ledge and down the ladder fast. Paige came flying down, shortly after, followed by little bits of concrete showering down over them. Getting down from the ladder and after checking their gear, Paige radioed in, "Alpha 2, Tac 1, what is Alpha 1's location?" However, they didn't receive a response right away. Sara's voice came loud and clear, telling them to proceed to the south east perimeter. She noted that Paige didn't like this, nor did she, shouldn't they be getting Baz? Instead of following the orders Gray had made very clear, they went to the corner of the building and used the camera to see what was going on over by the dug out sand piles. "Alpha 2 & 3, Romeo 1," Riley's voice, sounded in her ear, seemingly excited and perhaps almost anxious. Not enough action for him yet, she thought. "We've got two on foot heading in your direction." Jordan smiled absent mindedly, thinking of the irony of not following orders then. Through the shadows she saw them. "Alpha 3, got a visual" pausing as she recognized one of them, Tommy. "two runners." she finished and was followed by orders from Sara to bring them in. Jordan felt Paige take the camera out of her hands, and then heard her telling her to lead the way. They went after them and quickly caught up. Paige took off to the right, taking the other man, unfortunately leaving Tommy for her. Nevertheless, she went after him, almost dreading what she was doing, but thankful she was wearing the mask, least he not recognize her voice. She followed him, watching him enter one of the buildings, disappearing into the darkness. She cautiously entered through the door, gun poised and ready, but it wasn't shot to kill. She could handle that, bring him in alive, trying to convince herself. She walked carefully along the wall, not seeing much in the darkness, wondering where he was. To her immediate left she heard rustling, knowing it was Tommy getting her attention. She turned and headed towards the sound, taking the bait. Tommy emerged right in front of her, swinging a metal pipe. She ducked and kicked him, knocking him off balance and causing him to drop the pipe. "Fuck!" Tommy exclaimed, getting up and rushing towards her. She was ready, kicking him down once again. He fell to the ground, seemingly done for, not moving. Doubt took over her mind, sure he was a strong boy, but she couldn't have hurt him with that little kick could she? Noher feelings for him couldn't get in the way, no. She had already told herself this time and time again. Tommy was back up again, coming at her. They had something didn't they? But it was all a sham, why the hell couldn't she get this through her head. Tommy was coming even closer, sham or not, "Holly" loved him. Her reflexes told her to get a move on, but she hesitated. Her hesitation cost her as Tommy kicked her in the stomach and yanked off her mask. As she was doubled over, she stared back at him, watching his facial expressions, from confusion, to horror, and then anger. "Shit Holly. Fuck, you! I can't fucking believe this. First the deal goes sour and now you!" he screamed at her. She didn't say a word, guilty almost, but did not hesitate this time when he came at her with his bare hands. His momentum knocked both of them down, but she managed to get on top of him and pulled out the plastic wire. Tommy struggled some more as she bound his wrists behind his back. She grinded her knee into his upper back, making Tommy hold still. Giving the restraints one last yank, she pulled him up. "Oh ya, you think your so great, little miss secret agent," Tommy said, taunting her. "Ya, well, you've got another thing coming, you do. You really thought that you fooled me didn't you? No one can fool Tommy, you were just a good fuck." Jordan flinched slightly at his last words, but gave him no satisfaction in retorting back. However, he had seen her flinch, "Oh ya, you had better believe it bitch." Jordan looked at him, angry now. Angry that she had agonized over him, fact was, he was the asshole and she had even thought of him differently, that he was different from the rest. He was just like them. She slammed her fist into his face, which shut him up as he spit out blood onto the ground. "Tac 1, Alpha 3, target secured." she said into her comm. "Copy Alpha 3, proceed to building 127 for pickup." came Sara's voice. Giving Tommy a good push, they headed outside. She kept her gun on his back as they walked. "Alright, so if you're not Holly, then who the fuck are you? Jane, Mary, you can tell me." Tommy said, smiling sinisterly at her. "Shut the fuck up. You think you know me after a few romps in the sheets, well think again Tommy boy. You have no conception at all. At least I am the one who gets to go free. All the nice little photos on you are going to put you away for a nice long time. And by that time, you won't even have the energy to have a `good fuck.'" Tommy stared at her, but declined from saying anything, seeing her look of disgust and hatred. He turned and walked, as Jordan smiled for a moment, no longer burdened with guilt. And thinking almost navely, that she was helping making the world a better place. She saw Paige and Riley, who seemed to be waiting for her. Paige looked at her, with what she thought to be sympathy when she saw Tommy. Jordan shrugged, and passed Tommy over to the waiting man. She didn't even look back at him, but she felt his eyes on her. She was, how should she put it? Almost angry with herself for the compassion she had shown for Tommy. Best to deny everything, act normal, not let on to anyone about the emotional baggage she had picked up. How was she going to get rid of it though? Return |
