Jordan hefted her bag up on to the table, stuffing her belongings in it, going over the details of the briefing in her mind. Was she really going to do this? Could she? As much as she hated that boy, she betrayed him into believe she was something she wasn't. She had never gotten so close to anyone before, not even for any of the missions in Section. Hell, in her real life way back when, she hadn't even had a relationship, unless she accounted for those one-night stands. Now, she had to do this, but wondered if she could. As much as she hated him, she actually had some semblance of feelings for him. No no, she reasoned, they had been working too hard to not get this, and what would happen if they didn't? Back to Section, to death, she was positive. That wasn't going to happen, not on her life, and she wasn't about the play God with the rest of Alpha either.

Out of the corner of her eye she saw Paige walking towards her, stopping and asking, "That Riley's bag?"

She nodded, "Yeah, got your stuff?" wanting to end the conversation already. She didn't want to talk, just get this freaking night over with.

Turning her attention to the weapons they were going to be using, she thought they were pretty good. "Good weapons," she commented, peering into the bag before putting her own in it. Looking over at Paige, she held out her hand for her own weapon.

She smiled at Paige's facial expression, as she plunked in Paige's gun, "A fool and her weapon are soon parted." Paige grinned at her.

"Feels weird going out." Paige said quietly. She nodded, agreeing silently. Pretty weird, she wasn't so sure if she could do this whole mission thing. Why did she have such doubts? Well, whatever they were, they had to go and it had to be now, not in a minute and not later. Now.

"Ready?" Riley asked, coming up behind them. They turned and indicated that they were. She stood patiently as Riley showed them the comm device, uncomfortable at his closeness, hoping he'd finish this demo real quick and move out of her space. He thankfully did and they were free to go, after a few details were sorted out.

Thoughts flew around in her head, Have to get Baz.... can't leave him. Pausing, she waited for Riley to say anything else before they left. It was all a little too familiar for her own liking, yet still different.

Driving out of the lot, she followed the already dim taillights of Paige's car. No thoughts were in her head now, this she was thankful for. No thinking, just doing. She turned the heat up; feeling slightly flushed, but liked it anyways. Sitting back, she just drove.

The closer they got to Samboy Aggregates however, the more she could feel her anxiety growing. She kept telling herself over and over it was her. She could stand up to Tommy boy. After all, he was just some asshole, looking to get himself in deep shit, not that he wasn't there already. However, he didn't know it yet. She smiled at that. On second thought, screw this whole sympathy thing. He's the jerk, not to mention totally whacked. Let's beat his ass. However, a little voice inside her head caution her, sure she was thinking this now, but when the time came, could she take him down?
