PSYCHOLOGOCAL HISTORY:

Jordan's upbringing has caused her to be closed off more and very stable in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She however closed off from her emotions to a certain extent. Jordan has her own copping mechanisms, doing what is required, and then thinking about things afterward, and in some cases being overwhelmed and the end result is loss of sleep and nightmares.

It is felt that these specific coping mechanisms are only in place under times of great stress. So, given to the nature of Jordan's new life, these mechanisms will diminish in significance. The dreams may never end, but will be less disturbing.

RECRUITMENT EVALUATION:

Phase I:
Almost perfect score and finished well within the given time. Various answers were guarded, Jordan was extremely conscious of what she was writing, well aware that how she did would influence the next step.

During the second part of this evaluation, Jordan listened well, showing once again her ability to follow. Her leadership skills are less competent because she is more comfortable following. However, she still does display fine leadership skills.

Phase II:
Jordan and her unit finished the initial test 30 minutes before the deadline. Additionally, all other tests and activities were met without complaint and done extremely well, well above our expectations. While acting within her unit, Jordan seemed particularly aware that everything was a test, always cautious of being watched. This is a remnant of her life at Section One.

BACKGROUND:

Age 1 - 5:
Jordan grew up in Xiamen, China. Her parents did not spend to much time at home after her birth, were always working or on holiday. Consequently, a nanny was hired until she started going to school to care for her. Her nanny was Heather, a young Chinese girl who had aspirations of going to university someday, when she could get the money for it. Jordan spent a large amount of time with Heather, and the neighbours, for they were good company for the young girl.

Age 5-10:
At the age of five Jordan began going to school, she was enrolled in "Xiamen International School," a private, ritzy school, where the courses were all taught in English. Even with classes being taught in English, the school's curriculum made it mandatory for each student to learn at least on language. Two were encouraged. During the first years in school Jordan showed particular interest in languages. Jordan also was enrolled in the school band where she learned how to play the piano, and she joined the soccer club.

Jordan relished the thought of doing homework because she was able to block out the feelings she didn't want. She didn't want to think about the sadness that had crept it's way into her life, the hole her parents were leaving in her. Jordan spent considerable time at the neighbour's house when her parents weren't there.

An interesting thing to note during her Grade 5 year, Jordan and her classmates had to do random acts of kindness, either babysitting for free or helping out at the food bank. Jordan decided to help out at a food bank. During this time that Jordan realized the treatment of the people. She had spent her life sheltered away at home and her private school, and was shocked at how some people lived.

Another significant person in Jordan's life during this time was her school friend Beth, nicknamed Bee. They spent a fair amount of time together.

Age 10-15
Jordan continued to excel in school, with false hopes that she would gain her parent's attention, but that didn't happen. Her parents continued to work, and they would go away on month long vacations, which Jordan wasn't invited to. Jordan began to feel very bitter towards her parents and stopped listening to them. At one point, she realized that she didn't care about her parents anymore and she wouldn't let them have a say in her life and activities. Bee knew all Jordan's parents and supported Jordan in every way.

Age 15-18:
As Jordan grew older, she spent more time away from home. Only those who had looked after Jordan from when she was young noticed the change in her. She got herself a job at a nearby vegetable market because she wouldn't take money from her parents. Not that they gave her any because they were opposed with what she was doing, but Jordan didn't care. Jordan became more involved in the politics of Xiamen and the Fujian Province. She was seen at various rallies with others who had the same ideas, wanting to better the lives of those who were being stepped on, to get more funding for various social programs. In 1995 though, Jordan was at a rally that had gotten out of hand, and many people were injured, Jordan included. She received a minor concussion, and was kept in the hospital overnight.

Jordan became increasingly involved in politics, but she was not a well-known figure like most of her counterparts were. Jordan preferred to stay at the sidelines, but she was still extremely involved. The government banned their activities, forcing some members to move away. Jordan stayed however, and was involved in covert operations against the government. Mostly involving surveillance and obtaining classified documents. They operated this way until the authorities discovered their hideout. During one of their meetings when everyone was there, the police burst in with arrest warrants and a search warrant. It is not known how 3 of the 6 officers were killed, but in any case, Jordan and her companions were arrested and sentenced to die.
