MEDICAL NOTES:

Medications: None

Allergies: Ciprofloxacin hydrochlorid

Notes: None

Recommendations: none

MEDICAL HISTORY:

  • 1. Severe trauma suffered when 8 years old and fell down a mine shaft. This has left a deep deated fear of confinement and was exploited by Madeline during the Section mission Corellia/Stratus to the mole, to allow them to flush out Pichalski.
  • 2. During her teenage years she was involved with her parents and sister in a fatal road accident. Sara was the only viable survivor of the crash, her sister was badly hurt and was unable to support herself. She was placed in a hospital and died 5 years ago, just before Sara was recruited into Section. The injuries received in the accident were minor, just concussion and a broken left wrist.
  • 3. Since joining Section, Sara has had her fair share of gun wounds, but none of these were bad enough to mark her.
  • 4. One major incident when she was just out of her training was when she was exposed to a viral agent, being worked upon by Dr. hu. This was deliberately engineered by Section and it was not expected that she would revocer, but another operative administered an antidote in time to slow the process.
  • 5. The second major incident was during the Madison mission when she suffered a major allergy to ciprofloxacin and collapsed, she was rushed into Section Medical put on a drip to dilute the toxins built up in her system. NB It should be noted that since she had an allergic reaction to the drug, it should not be given again in the future.
  • 6. The third major incident was during a solo mission, Immersion, and she was given doses of addictive drugs by her kidnappers along with neural inhibitors and subjected to various forms of physical torture.

PSYCHOLOGOCAL HISTORY:

Sara has had a number of major trauma's in the recent years, however she is able to pull on inner strength to see her through most of them, she is aware that Section has manipulated her in the past and has grown a hard shell to present to outsiders.

She is very independent and has a good sense of right and wrong, which she has used in the past to ignore orders from above. She has a few close friends in Section, notably Paige, Jordan, Davenport, Mai, Marc, Kihn, Walter and Birkoff, preferring not to get too involved with other operatives.

Section had considered cancelling Sara after the death of Operations and Madeline's redeployment to Section 4. However, I believe this would have been a loss; what Section perceived as a weakness, not obeying orders, the SIA should consider an asset.

While she does still have weaknesses I recommend that every effort is made to encourage her to participate fully in SIA activities rather than exploiting them, as this operative has proved that she is capable of fighting back.

INTERVIEW NOTES:

SECTION ONE HISTORY:

During her debriefing by Madeline, Section realised that she could be an asset and recruited her, however she has not proved to be an easy recruit, always pushing the boundaries to see how far she could go and using her skills to gain access to restricted data areas. Despite this, she made a good operative and was able to unmask the Red Cell Cardinal, although when operatives were dispatched to 'capture' him, he had already moved on. It is unlikely that the person named as Cardinal is still alive and as a result of enquiries conducted by Oversight, Madeline has now been seconded to Section 4.

It was decided that since her 'independent' activities exposed the problems in Section One. Section One should be reconstructed and a decision was taken to cancel anyone that was currently in place with the exception of Michael Samuelle and Nikita Wirth who were to be appointed to lead the revised Section. By coincidence, an outside agency (SIA) were looking for strong, independent candidates to work for them in the fight against terrorism. Operatives based in Section One were reviewed and likely candidates put forward and could choose to join or be cancelled, others not considered were given no choice and were terminated.

Computers: She has a high level of computer skills, and has been used in the past when Sections Computer Expert was not available. She has proved that she is capable of finding information without alerting the sources, which is a valuable talent and could prove very useful to the SIA.

Has a good understanding of:
Portugese

Weapons: Her Section background has given her an excellent weapons ability, clearly demonstrated during the Phase II evaluation which was held at Glacier National Park.

Intelligence: Highly intelligent with advanced computer skills.

RECRUITMENT EVALUATION:

Phase I:
The psychological evaluation was that this was a person who uses her knowledge to good use, but has a dislike of being used by people. She answered the questions carefully, but not slowly, and gained almost a perfect score.

During the listening/instructions phase part of this test she performed well, neither losing her temper nor getting impatient although others in her group were getting flustered, she remained calm throughout the test.

Her level of self-control is formidable, it makes it hard to see the real person behind the persona that she cares to demonstrate, but I believe that with careful handling, she will advance through the levels of the SIA to attain a high level of responsibility.

Phase II:
Sara and the rest of her unit arrived at base camp 30 mins ahead of the limit, and despite having down over 30 miles on route, were still able to perform further physical testing over the next 10 days.

The team functioned very well throughout the 10 day evaluation, supporting each other through each one of the tests and at no point did this candidate ever challenge the instructions of the instructors, despite how much work and effort was required to complete an activity. The team were always performing well and were well inside the limits set for achieving the targets set for each activity.

All of the instructors rated this candidate highly and their only concern was the lack of challenge, however I feel that again this is part of the character she allows you to see, but it does not represent her true character.

During the weapons activity, SSgt Jefferson gave her one of the highest marks of the group as she showed a very high level of competence over and above what is required. All the candidates from Section showed the same level of expertise and whoever has trained them has done an excellent job and should be considered for SIA if they are at all possible.

BACKGROUND:

Parents were charity workers and Sara spent a number of years in Russia, based in the small provincial town of Kaluga. Her Russian is excellent and she has an excellent grasp of the vernacular. Parents died in 1994 in a tragic car accident, Sara was just 12. She was fostered with a family who lived in Suffolk, England and later attended Cambridge University.

She had a brief relationship with Sean Strathspey (MI9) during 2003, but during her final year at University they split up and Sean signed up with the British Army while Sara went on to complete her degree and later she went to work for a computer company First Light. She encouraged them to explore Government data on insecure connections although when she found out that they were selling this information for money to terrorists, she destroyed their computer equipment. She had arranged to escape during the confusion but before she could complete this, Section intervened and she was taken back to Section for debriefing.
