Jordan slowly opened her eyes, feeling the rumbling of the truck on the road. Her head was resting on Joshua's shoulder, causing her to quickly sit up. Saf was sleeping next to her. She was a little worried about Saf, wondering if she would loss her head again, do something crazy like she did at the club back a while back. She hoped not, but also knew how close she was to Paige. She glanced over at Joshua, then back at Saf, ya, she'd have to keep an eye on Saf, least she not do something rash and really get Joshua going.

She squirmed, not liking the numb feeling in her ass. Besides her, Saf shifted positions and opened her eyes. They turned off the main road, continuing for a few miles before a section van came into view. She shivered involuntarily when Michael got out of the van, but was pleased to see Birkoff. She hadn't seen him since before she left Section, hell, he probably didn't even know she was still alive.

Saf was silent besides her as Joshua got out, but she didn't move. Instead Saf sat there, causing her to wonder what she was thinking about. Joshua slammed the truck door.

"We need to end this quick Jordy," Saf said to her. She nodded as Saf continued. "There's a good chance that Madeline already knows we are coming, which puts Paige in even a greater risk. Then, with all of us moving in, it will alert them to our presence." Saf paused for only a moment. "So what I was thinking is we need to get away from the group, take off on our own and get Paige and Baz ourselves before Madeline is aware of our presence."

Jordan stared out the window at Michael and Joshua talking. "Ya, we need to do that, but I also wonder how it can be done. I mean, us disappearing, Joshua is going to notice in a second. It's certainly worth a try though." she replied to Saf.

Saf nodded in reply and got out of the truck. Jordan slid out behind her. Everyone watched at they approached. When they got closer Joshua said, "Bob and Joe are recce'ing the site, there are a number of buildings, but they haven't seen a sign off"

Jordan watched as Joshua paused when he realized that Saf wasn't listening to him. Instead Saf walked into the van and was back out not a minute later. Saf nodded to her and walked off into the forest. She wanted to follow, but she looked at Joshua's face, seeing his eyes on Saf's back, looking far from pleased. She stayed where she was and did not like the fact that she has once again succumbed to Joshua. She didn't follow Saf because she knew that would make Joshua angrier. Damn you, she cursed herself.

Joshua stocked off in the opposite direction without bothering to finish what he had began to say. Jordan shrugged and headed into the van herself, sitting down besides Birkoff.

"Hey Enolawhoops, sorry, I mean Jordan," Birkoff greeted her.

She smiled at him, "Yahow's everything back at Section?" she asked casually, curious to know.

Birkoff shrugged, "Still the same, yet different. You know what I mean."

"I do," she replied. "So what's up with the surveillance, seen Madeline or anything yet?"

"No, nothing yet. There are a number of buildings where they could possibly do, but for now all we do is watch and monitor the air waves"

Jordan sat back, knowing there was nothing to do but wait. She'd leave the computer stuff to Birkoff for the time being.

0920hrs

She was pouring over the maps of the area, noting where the rock outcrops, and patches of bush were in relation to the buildings. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Joshua pacing back and forth. Seemed he was just as impatient as her. He hadn't talked to her since they arrived, but she wasn't too concerned. He was an ass for what he did to Paige and what Maddy was doing to her, she couldn't even begin to imagine. She knew that getting mad at him wasn't going anywhere, and it wouldn't keep Paige and Baz safe. She rose to go talk to him, but then saw Saf coming. She looked back at Joshua, who had now sat down in the van, done pacing for the moment.

Saf merely smiled when she told her about Joshua being pissed, saying that both herself and Jordan weren't under his control. Jordan stared at her for a moment before stating, "I agree, but take it easy. It's more important to get Paige back then just to annoy each other."

When they got to the van Joshua stood up and glowered at Saf, but she watched as Saf coolly drank her water and then informed Joshua with what she saw, nothing. Within seconds, Saf and Joshua where at each other's throats. Michael seeing that too stepped silently between them. Jordan stared at both of them, they should know better and she let them know that.

"I think we should wait and see. We have no better information, do we?" she said to Joshua, who nodded. Then she turned to Saf, "and nothing to gain by running around?" who nodded in reply. Relieved to having the situation diffused, she walked away from them. She didn't want Saf or Joshua to take this too far. Joshua and MaddyJordan shook her head. It was almost like cat and mouse between them two; only the odds were more or less equal both ways. So it was more like cat and cat, or maybe cat and lion.

1700 hrs

Done with the maps Jordan walked towards Joshua who was doing something alone, off to the side of everyone. Silently she stood besides him for a moment before saying casually, "That data you got me to retrieveit was for your own little game wasn't it?"

Joshua stared up at her, his face immediately angry, but he didn't say a word. "You just weren't using Paige to store the data now were you? It's something more. Let me tell you this once, if you get Paige hurt or Baz, you'd better watch your step and not only from me, but from Saf too."

Feeling bold she walked passed him, but he grabbed her arm and held on tight. "Threatening me now are you? Now, that I didn't expect, but you had better watch yourself and what you say. Words are very dangerous, and you of all persons should know. With Michael and other Section ops here, don't you doubt for a second that they couldn't get the upper hand, and you know what that means don't you?"

Jordan stared at him, equally angered at his words. She didn't acknowledge his words, or give any indication she has more to say.

1845hrs

Jordan looked down onto the building that Paige and Baz could
possibly be in. She was relieved to be away from the section ops.
They were just so mechanical, and she was fully aware that she was
once like that. Besides her Saf was resting. They had been out
there for about and hour and a half and hadn't seen anything. No one
had seen anything at any of the other buildings either. She hoped
they weren't watching the wrong ones.

Suddenly the door to the building opened. She tapped Saf until she opened her eyes and sat up. She pointed to the two figures dressed all in black had emerged. She took pictures of them while Saf reported what they were seeing to Joshua. Thsee two figures seemed to be checking the place out and then went back inside, only to emerge minute later with Paige, Baz and a child, a boy by the looks of it. One section operative stayed behind, while Paige, Baz and the child walked around. She continued to snap pictures, aware that Michael and Joshua had now arrived, but she ignored them. She watched them through the camera lens and was concerned at how at ease Paige and Baz were considering the situation. She wondered why. Beside her, Saf pulled back and spoke to Joshua, who minutes later went off into the trees with Michael, leaving them there to watch. They finally went inside and there was no movement whatsoever around the building.

2015hrs

"Everyone, move in" Joshua stated over the comm, so much for doing it themselves. She followed Saf down the embankment, moving swiftly and fast approaching the building. A Section operative emerged and was shot down by someone to the left of her. They moved faster now, aware their presence would now be known.

Saf and herself reached the compound right after Michael and Joshua and behind them the other section ops. They entered the compound and shot another section operative that worked for Madeline. Moving deeper in to the building they secured various rooms, but all were empty. They emerged into a large area, where to the left was a couple computes and chairs, to the right more doors. No one could be seen, but shots rang out towards them and one section op was hit, the rest of them dove for cover.
