"Just Doing My Job"
Staging Area 0300

The plan was the same as the first time round. Only this time they wouldn't be caught by surprise, there wouldn't be any fireworks and there wouldn't be any hostages taken. This time, it was simple. Infiltrate, execute, exfiltrate. Simple. Yeah right. Nothing was ever that simple.

They had gone over the scenario multiple times. All except the drug-affected Bella, who for mercy's sake had only been made to rehash the same bloody stuff a single time. It was boring shit, going over the plan again and again, especially as they had been informed that there would be minimal resistance, and not from the elite opponents they had had before. All that was left was one chubby politician and some bored home guards. Fine by Jaime; the easier the mission the better.

The team moved out once again, same heading, same target, same setup. Jaime wasn't happy with being given the same spot to sight from, more out of the habit of never shooting from the same spot twice than out of any real concern that anyone actually knew where he was and could target him.

Taking up his overwatch position, he settled into the slightly indented grass that he had lain in not that long ago.

"Alpha Six, report." That was Paige's voice over comms. Jaime scanned the area surround Petrenko's Dacha, checking once, twice, thrice for any signs of possible enemies or other hiccups to the operation. Finding none he reported back to Paige and Saf, who were waiting to do the dirty deed.

"Alpha two, Alpha four, you are in the clear."

Spotting the two dark figures at their waypoint he kept his focus on them for a few seconds before making another couple of careful sweeps of the ground. Having ascertained everything was in the clear, he returned his attention to the Dacha, where the two figures had just entered the building. Switching to thermal mode on his scope, he picked up the heat signatures of the two operatives as they moved through the house. Thankfully he also didn't pick up any other signatures.

He watched one of the human-shaped figures as it stood by what he had to assume was the sleeping form of Petrenko. To him it was nothing more than a slightly different coloured and slightly larger blob on his scope. He watched as the larger blob moved, probably to a sitting position, the smaller blob react, then the larger blob fall back down again. There. Done. Mission complete.

Jaime scanned the Dacha grounds again, making sure that the exfil from the mission site was clear. Swinging back to the Dacha, Jaime saw the two operatives moving out from their position, heading towards the exit point. As one of the two figures swung over the balcony, he noticed two more heat signatures near their position.

His comm. unit chirped, "Alpha Six, I got company."

Time to work.

He sighted up on the foremost figure, flipping his thermal vision off to better distinguish body parts to be punctured. Figuring their mission profile didn't include the killing of the `innocent' guards; he aimed for the man's right shoulder, which held an AK47, pointed at the figure on the grapple line over the balcony.

Breathing out slowly he squeezed the trigger, and watched as the man fell backwards into the Dacha, only to be replaced by another man of very similar appearance. Same deal with this one. Right shoulder; fall over.

Job done.

"You're clear Two and Four," he reported over the headset and started to pack his gear up for the trip back to the staging area.
