"Que Sera, Sera"
The world began to come back to her, sounds, light. Light? The sun must be rising. Thoughts crept into her mind, her situation being remembered. Eyes closed, body still she knew her breathing must have changed but she tested her other sense before she opened her eyes. She was still bound, tree still at her back, so she hadn't moved. She listened, not much to hear really, the normal forest sounds of the day, there was only a light breeze on her face. She could hear someone breathing nearby, she was not alone. She lifted her head, a crick in her neck, and with that movement her stomach churned. Yeah that's be right, she was one of the few that reacted this way to drugsoh well it was only nausea, nothing to worry about she never actually threw up with it. Opening her eyes hurt a little but she did it as gracefully as possible. She saw that she hadn't moved and through her squinting she saw the man who had been with her before the man who had put her out.

He looked concernedwell she supposed she had been out for longer than expected and he seemed to be a decent kind of a fellowaside from the terrifying heraye that. Anger flooded through her. It made her feel better which was interesting because until just now she hadn't noticed that she had been feeling that bad. He went awaycame back and presented her with water. She accepted it, rejecting it out of spite would not help her now. She was so angry and when she felt this kind of anger it was better she remained quiet. She was in no state to make a violent attempt on the man now and it would just end up badlyembarrassingly. Time passed.

She sighed to herself. Oh this was fun, why hadn't she just shot the guy who found her. She was regretting her course of action at the moment, why hadn't she kicked this fool when she had the chance. Oh well, what will be will be. He wasn't bad company as long as he stayed away from her, she had promised herself that she would kick him if he came into range again, which more than likely would make him less pleasurable company. She started to hum `Que Sera Sera' , her voice was pleasant and smooth. She was wishing she had her notebook with her at least. The song soothed her a bit, made her mind go back to a happier day when she was in the back of a car being driven by her father. Her mother had been in the passenger seat and was singing the song. Bella and her brother had been singing along happily whilst playing rock paper scissors to pass the time.

She stopped singing suddenly, her eyes closed as she did, her brow furrowed for a moment and then she opened them again, she hated thinking of those times.

He approached speaking as he did. "Lets go," he cut her legs free. He helped her up, his strong arms taking her weight and making sure she did not lose her balance. She hated this and took as much weight on herself as she could but this didn't work too well just yet. A few deep breaths and she stood on the spot steady, shaking internally but he didn't need to know it.

Bella walked through a haze it seemed. Her head wasn't quite right yet, sitting was ok, but walking was interesting. She was nauseous but that was no biggie, not tripping was the challenge, she hated to look like a fool. So her head held high, her steps placed carefully, she was as graceful as the drugs and forest allowed. She tried to avoid conversation now though, due to the fact that in this case walking and talking was a bit too much to ask. Rifleshe preferred Ruhzyo, seems worried, he kept her in sight, no doubt to make sure she wouldn't run off, but maybe, to make sure she didn't fall and hurt herself. He stayed close and despite that it was his fault she felt like this she was silently grateful to him for his concern.

They walked, the most remarkable thing that happened is that Bella didn't stumble at all. When they reached the clearing the stopped walking and stood. She would have preferred to sit butstanding was better than walking, she cold talk now at least. So she tried."Are we there yet?" Her voice was child-esque, quite deliberately. She was remembering an episode of a show that the Americans seemed to like, `The Simpsons', most of the humour had been lost on her but she couldn't help but refer to it now even if he didn't get it.

"Yes, we are here," He seemed to relax a little as she spoke and she wondered if he felt guilt about what had happened. Well maybe he shouldmaybe he shouldn't. She knew that people in her team had been stuck in positions that they had found less than desirable before, having to do things that they didn't want to. Her head spun so she stopped thinking for a moment.

"Good," she replied tiredly.

"You ok?" he asked. He seemed concerned and she smiled a little. She had difficulty feeling angry when she felt like this and there wouldn't have been any point anyway if she ever saw the guy again it was unlikely to be in the same circumstances, probably because she wouldn't allow it to be and whilst he had tapped into her phobia he didn't know what it was, she was almost certain that he thought it was the needle that had upset her soit was all good he was just doing his job. There it was, her main attitude towards everything these days. It's just a job, nothing is emotional.

"I guess," she replied telling him `no' wouldn't help. "I just want to get back to my people." That was the gods own truth, then she could sleep this shit off.

"I understand that. Being caught by the `enemy' isn't fun, unless you have a way out,"

Page appeared ahead of them with another man, he looked disgruntled but calm. She wished she felt so calm, but her stomach just wouldn't settle. Paige studies Bella's face and Bella put on the best front she could. No harm had come to her and she didn't want Paige upset just because she looked awful. No words were spoken, but Paige stopped and cut the ties on the man with her and let him move away from her. Ruhzyo did the same thing, he looked at her and smiled a little, there was almost an apology for everything that had happened in his eyes. He didn't say anything either. She nodded almost imperceptibly to him and took a careful step toward Paige, once again concentrating on not falling.

"Stay here," The words came to Bella as Paige motioned to the Ruhzyo and moved off away from the two now traded captives. Bella was grateful to stop moving, and stood for a moment, her stomach made a nasty churn and her head decided to swim in circle. Damn it this was frustrating, she hated this, this was why she feared the drugs so much, she hated to lose control at all, and the sleep was the ultimate loss but thisthis was just as annoying, she was scared at her own bodies' reaction to drugs. She contemplated carrying herbal sedatives on her so that next time the bad guysor the opposite side as it was this time could use Bella friendly products. She smiles and regretted it, deciding this time to go sit, who knew how long these two would be whispering over in the corner. She moved to a tree and slid down it, closed her eyes and put her head back, she listened, always listened, but other than that she trusted Paigeand it seems Ruhzyo, to pay attention to what was going on around her.

The other guy, the other captorwhat was he doingshe didn't care right now. She wanted to go back to sleep. That would be her own decision as the sedative had worn off in that respect butsleep would make her feel better. Oh well, she would sleep later, now was not the time. She heard movement and opened her eyes to see Paige kneeling in front of her.

"You alright?" she asked gently as she rummaged through her small jump kit.

"Yeah, basically," Bella managed out.

Paige touched her comm clicking the open channel to Jordy, "Alpha three, come up on our position."

"Acknowledged, Alpha two," Jordy said immediately.

Paige refocused on Bella, "Do you know how long you were out?"

Bella shook her head a little then grimaced, "no, couple hours...maybe." She had asked butshe couldn't remember what he
said, think on that later.

"Alright." Paige took out her penlight shining it into Bella's eyes noting the slowness of her pupils. "You're still a little off. Are you nauseous? Vomiting?" Those symptoms seemd to have passed especially while she was sitting down, and she hated complaining so

"No," Bella said evenly, or maybe she should tell her, "a little nauseous."

Paige nodded her head, "headache, blurry vision?"

"No, just...tired," Bella said with a sigh. She suddenly felt bone tired again, she was withpeople who didn't want her dead. She didn't know any of them well enough yet to call them friends but these guys wanted her alive.

"You okay to walk? We got about a 20 minute walk back to staging."

"I can make it," Bella said getting up slowly. She had moved as quickly as she dared, she didn't want to get all fuzzy again. She stood straight and held her head high againnothing wrong here.

Jordan appeared out of the darkness watching the duo carefully. "What's up? You alright?" she directed towards Bella.

"Yeah, I'm okay," Bella said with a soft smile. Maybe one of them was on the way to being a friend, maybe.

Paige nodded to Jordy, "I'll lead, Bella in the middle, let's get back to staging."

They both nodded and the three of them made their way back to the staging area.
