Come join us and be part of something special

The Staten Island Community Chorale was created to recognize the musical talent found within Staten Island, and provide a suitable forum for individuals. Our Chorale is over 40 voices strong, with representation from all parts of Staten Island. Meeting the challenge are both men and women of various ages and diverse backgrounds.
What Makes the Staten Island
Community Chorale Special
We
encourage our members to explore their natural artistic abilities in music (vocal
and instrumental), and provide a warm and inviting atmosphere in which they
can succeed. It is our aim to provide these members with an outlet for their
work, so that all of Staten Island is able to appreciate their talents and skills.
We
are always happy to audition anyone who wishes to share the excitement and fun
that comes with belonging to the Chorale. You need not be a professional singer
or musician to join. If you are interested, please call Joseph Cascio at
(718) 667-0939 or simply send an e-mail with
your name and phone number. You may also write to us at this address:

Joining the Chorale requires a commitment to attend about 10 or so rehearsals that take place before a concert or performance. Rehearsals are usually held once a week on Monday evenings, and last about 2 hours.
The location for rehearsals is the Oakwood Heights Community Church, located at 345 Guyon Avenue in Oakwood Heights, Staten Island. For directions, please note the Church's address, and then click here for online driving directions from most anywhere.
The Chorale believes in excellence and recognizes artistic interpretation of all styles of music, from classical to the 21st century and beyond. We are happy to have performed both well-known classics as well original compositions from musicians around Staten Island and New York City.
