| James Bounds - GUY |
| Michael Reed - JOHN |
James is a third year undergraduate at St Peter's College, where he is studying Philosophy and Theology. Previous roles include Sir Andrew in "Twelfth Night" (St Catz Amphitheatre), Xanthias in "The Frogs" (Powell Theatre), Charles Pooter in "Mr and Mrs Nobody" (St Peter's College), Harold in "Black Comedy" (Moser), and Malcolm Starr in "Good Night Tony Martin" (NWF 2004, OFS). While at Oxford, he has produced "Phaedra's Love" and "Memory Play" (both BT) and was stage manager for "Galileo" at the 2004 Edinburgh Festival. He has also directed "The Zoo Story" (BT), "The Rising Generation" (Moser), "Another Country" (OFS) and "Mr and Mrs Nobody" (St Peter's College). At the end of this term he will direct "Six Degrees of Separation" at the BT. ear at Oxford, James was Vice-President o the E.T.C. |
Michael Reed is a third year engineer, but that's not his fault. He likes singing, mountain walking, hosting comedy shows and performing theatre, finding acting out other people's lives to be the best way to show true emotion. Having solemly sworn not to do a play in the year of his finals he eagerly agreed to take the part. Playing John will be, in his mind, the toughest and most exciting challenge to date. Wish him all the best of British luck! |
| Colin Warriner - DANIEL |
| Frank Brinkley - ERIC |
Colin is a second year historian at Exeter, who only managed to act in two productions in his first year, but each of them was fantastic (he claims). As there are no exams for him to get shockingly stressed over for a while, he is planning to take this year as an opportunity to cram in as much drama as possible, starting with 'My Night With Reg', which he swears he was not drawn to by the prospect of male nudity. After playing an army major in 'Arms and The Man', and a priest in 'Murder in the Cathedral', Colin sees the character of Daniel as a welcome return to (a degree of) normality, even if he doesn't have an opportunity to wear imposing costumes. In all seriousness, playing Daniel is a chance to take on a role that has comfortingly familiar aspects, if mercifully different circumstances. |
Frank Brinkley is a 2nd year Classicist at Corpus. Having recently been elected Chief Owleteer (President of Corpus Drama) he has been looking to prove that he can (just about) act. Amy's View in Trinity 2004 provided him with an opening, and Frank looks to do as much as he can (with in break in Hilary 05 for Mods) before time is up. Other interests include whatever takes his fancy, and he is not averse to a few early mornings on the river. My Night With Reg allows Frank to take on a fresh and snappy role, with plenty of difficulties to overcome. |
| David Cochrane - BERNIE |
| Campbell Davidson - BENNY |
David lives with monks. He has been involved in drama since Hilary Term, in which he directed Bewick Gaudy as part of the New Writing Festival. In Trinity he played the lead in 'The Critic' and the villain in 'The Shield', and had his own play 'Faust of the Colonnade' performed at the Burton Taylor, to three sellouts. The next play from his pen goes on in 8th week at the BT, entitled 'Closing Piece'. He lives with monks. REALLY. |
Campbells passion for the stage began with his involvement in musical theatre where he took lead roles in South Pacific, Fame and West Side Story. While studying in Oxford he has performed the role of Juror 5 in a sell-out production of Twelve Angry Men at the Burton Taylor Theatre. Campbell also has a great passion for music and is returning to the Edinburgh Festival in 2004 with his jazz band the Joe Finch Trio after successful shows in 2003 |
