She is one of the top volleyball players (middle blocker, what else?) and a much wanted supermodel. This is Nicole Bass: She is 'The World's Largest Female Bodybuilder.' In her old homepage she said: "At 1m88 (6'2") I weighed in at 87 Kilos (192 pounds) for my last show. Please don't ask my measurements. I prefer to use the mirror on the wall and not the tape".

This is Shirley Eson, she competed as a bodybuilder during the mid-to-late 1980's and still is the tallest female bodybuilder ever. She is 1m91 (6'3") and weighs 84 Kg (185 Lb.). She was part of 'The American Gladiators' under the nick name 'SKY'. On the second picture you can see her in the show, together with her daughter and two hosts of the show.
She is now in her late 30's and retired from competitive body building.
An admirer wrote to me: "She's the nicest of the Gladiators on the show to the contenders, sometimes even making suggestions on how to beat her in particular competitions."

A nice picture of Lisa Leslie with a smaller team-mate. Lisa played with the USA Olympic team. She is 1m96 (6'5") and now going after a career as a supermodel. Guess this won't be the last we hear of her...

This is Astrid Kumbernuss, who still holds the World Junior Record in the shot put. She has got a huge margin of superiority - 13 competitions better than the world number 2. 29/29 wins - the only regularly competing world-class woman to be unbeaten in 1997. Why? Might be her physique... with 1m86 (6'1") and 90 kgs (198 lbs) she is extrodinary athletic...

This is 24 year old Rebecca Lobo, she plays in the WNBA for the New York Liberties team as centre forward. For the olypmics of 1996 in Atlanta she played as the youngest member of the USA Women's Olympic Team. With 1m93 (6'4") and 84 kgs (185 lbs) she certainly played her role.
