I’m nothing special, in fact, I’m a bit of a bore

If I tell a joke, you’ve probably heard it before

But I have a talent, a wonderful thing

that my teachers discovered when I started to learn.

I’m so grateful and proud.

All I want is to praise them out loud.

So I say…

Thank you for your guidance, the things we’re learning

Thanks for all the joy you’re bringing.

How can we keep going, we ask in all honesty.

What would life be?

If we had not learned from you, what are we?

So we say thank you for the knowledge,

for giving hope to us.

I was then facing a blank wall, confused and afraid.

There was nothing I knew and my mind was so hazy and blank.

Then I started to wonder, how did it all start?

Who found out my talent and filled me within?

They’re my teachers, of course.

And I’ll always be grateful to them.

So I say…

I’ve been so lucky, I have my teachers when I need them.

I wanna sing it out to everybody.

What a joy, what a life, what a chance! Yeah!
