| My Mustang, Whispering Winds of Freedom, AKA Rocky inspired the name Whispering Winds Painted Quarters. I had always intended naming the farm after him, but needed to incorperate the Quarter Horses and my new Paint Stallion in the name somehow. Since my mares are Quarter Horses, in essence breeding them to my Paint, would give me a 'Painted Quarter'. So after much juggling with the name, I finally settled on Whispering Winds Painted Quarters. I have since sold my stallion, and decided to focus soley on Quarter Horses, but for now the name will stay the same. The farm is a small one, located on 8 acres of family property. I have 6 AQHA mares and 1 BLM Mustang gelding. All great joys of my life. I have 2 foals due in 2006, one in April and the other in July. I am anxiously waiting to see them!!! I offer horse back riding lessons and do some training, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact me.
