In the half time entertainment for the footy match, Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson performed a version of 'Rock Your Body' and when JT sang 'Bet I'll have you naked by the end of this song', tore off a portion of Janet?s costume exposing her breast. This performance watched by millions, caused an major uproar with TV station CBS' switchboard jamming with complaints. The reaction to the incident prompted JT to apologise saying "sorry if he offended anyone with the wardrobe malfunction. It was not intentional and is regrettable". "Justin was supposed to pull away Janet's rubber bustier to reveal a red lace bra," Huvane, told E! "The garment collapsed and her breast was accidentally revealed." Added Huvane: "We want to apologize to anyone who may have been offended." The MTV produced performance for the Superbowl looks to be the last. |
