The Canon Powershot A620 is an incredible camera at an affordable price. Part of Canon's A series line. It incorporates a host of high-end features normally reserved for G-series Powershots.

It features a 7.1 mega-pixel CCD sensor, delivering image quality suitable for a detailed photo-quatlity prints up to 15 x 20 inches and allowing substantial cropping without loss of print quality.

The DIGIC II processor drives a fast and responsive performance. Focusing time has been cut by 60% with shutter lag of 0.1 seconds. Allowing smooth continuous shooting at approximately 1.9 frames per second.

High quality movies are selectable from VGA (30/15 frames per second), QVGA (30/15 frames per second), Fast Frame Rate (for slow motion replays in camera), and Compact Mode (for clips that are ideal for e-mailing).

The camera features a 2.0 inch vari-angle LCD, My Colors, and a macro mode that allows you to get as close as 1 centimeter to your subject.

This camera has a total of 20 shooting modes, including FULL MANUAL MODE, a custom mode for allocating preferred shooting settings, and a shutter speed priority mode, with shutter speeds ranging from 15 seconds to 1/2500 second. Eight scene modes including: Night Snapshot, Snow, and Underwater.

What's in the Box??? Powershot A620 body, four AA-size Alkaline batteries, 32 MB SD memory card SDC-32M (good for about 9 pics at max res. So buy a extra memory card!), wrist strap WS-200, Digital Camera Solution CD-ROM, USB interface cable IFC-400PCU, audio-video cable AVC_DC300.

Our personal recommendations with this camera is you need at least a 1 GB SD card. We bought a Lexar SD1GB-60-380 1 GB Professional Series SD Memory card with ours and love it. With the way we have our camera set up we can take about 526 pictures on this card. Of course this camera supports FAT32 file system so you can use up to an 8 GB SD card if you want ;-).

We manage over 37 websites in various stages. We have at least a 100 business contacts. And I use almost 13 hours of every day for business. People always ask me how do I keep track of all of this. With my trusty Palm Life Drive!

Whenever you see me at a coffee shop you'll see me with "Roger" my trusty IBook G4. He goes everywhere with me. My trusty companion in all things. Don't hate me if you can't recognize him. I've kinda gone crazy with stickers on him (just like my car) but hey I'm a girl and I love making things "pretty" ;-)

You might be able to tell just from this page that I love everything Mac! My Ipod is my personal Jesus. He keeps me sane. He shows he loves me by playing all my favorites and making the day seem not so long. I even hook him up to my car stereo because Corporate Radio (Clear Channel) sucks!

Here she is. She is so cool. It actually has manual shutter settings and other features that are usually only on 35mm cameras!

Better buy some memory for that new camera!!! we get about 526 pictures with this SD card and about 9 minutes using the VGA movie thing on the above camera.
