Beloved

Beloved

Beloved, stand fast against the corrosion of time.
Hold tight to the acute sense of love,
And be not jaded by the ignorance of life.
For, as in most worlds, to live in this now is a trial by fire.

Also, forget not that there is a hand held out,
Ready for the taking and begging to be held.
Envelop that hand with the ferocity of ages,
And hold tight for the worth of thy soul.

And lastly, turn a fond eye into thy own soul.
A lifetime's worth of malice passes, at times in a single glance,
So let not thyself be the messenger of that anger,
But rather carry the talisman of self worth in thy breast.
