| Unfortunately, pets are often mistreated and unloved. Cats are left outside to run free, get hit by cars, become fatally ill, and overpopulate. Like toys, pets are often disgarded when the owner becomes bored. I'm not Supergirl... I just try to save them all!!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| While she loves her other "resting" pets as much, Tina still mourns over the loss of her 19 yr old tabby cat. Lotta left us Sept. 15, 1993. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Tina's first rescued pet was a ferret named Buddy, in 1998. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| One of Tina's goals for the future is to open a no-kill shelter unwanted pets. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| In Memory of Buddy | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Every good ferret must journey into the light. Some go too soon. Buddy was supposedly only 3 years old. He showed no signs of illness, except one "groggy" spell the month before. His death remains a mystery and he'll be forever mourned. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Cagney is named after the great James Cagney. His picture was once over Cagney's crate. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Tina opened her heart to two homeless poolbar cats at an "anonymous" hotel in Orlando in 2002. Will give them a home in the near future. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Comet | Cagney | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Cagney is a little white ball of sunshine. He can be a little hyper at times, but Cagney loves to do tricks... including roll-over, sit, paws, "raise the roof", and "Chewbacca..." YES! He makes the famous sound. Deemed a circus dog, Cagney likes to play fetch with his "Lamby" and fight for attention, as only the youngest child can do. Like Comet, he enjoys napping on the back of the couch. |

| Comet was about 3 months when I took her in from the streets of York, Pa. She smelled like trash for the first few days, until I managed to give her a bath. I was thinking of a name for her when BEHOLD... she started rolling around in "Comet" detergent. Thus the name Comet... she is the sweetest cats I've ever seen. The child that does no wrong. Sometimes I believe she's my guardian angel. She gives me kisses in the AM and cuddles in the PM. |

| 8/23/02: Spartan, my 5 year old goldfish, died in the late afternoon. He slipped away peacefully in his rock. Breakfast time won't be the same without him begging for his fishy-flakes. Spartan was great company since I purchased him as a companion the summer before my freshman year of college. He will be missed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
