Face Character Page
A personal bitterness of mine is the casting of Walt Disney World face characters. Bitter? YES!!! With good reason? Most certainly!!! While there are some very beautiful and well deserving people casted as princesses and other roles, a vast amount of look-a-likes are turned away every month and are replaced by f-uglies (or people that just don't resemble the characters AT ALL). I have been turned down to play the role of Alice TWICE. Many of my co-workers have approached me and asked if I was trainned. While flattering, this is a heartbreaking ordeal day in and day out. My goal is to meet the right individuals one day and be Alice, Wendy, Ariel, or Tinkerbell. Until then, I remain a beastly mess... kinda.

You can take a look at the pictures and judge for yourself. More updates to come!

9-21-02: The department is changing the height requirements for face characters (hopefully SHORTER). Everyone is invited, including castmembers that have auditioned within the past year. Why do I torture myself?! Hopefully, persistance pays off one day, while I'm still in my youth.

9-16-02: Met a really cool girl that was recently trainned to be Ariel and Cinderella. She was told she had a "generic" face. While flattered she got "face," she claimed it was a real ego- BUSTER. Poor thing... no really, she was very nice!

9-3-02: Face character auditions for Tokyo sucked!!! They didn't even look at any of us that didn't do "face" already!!!
