Blow off Pakistan:  Phuljitsinghaji
A news item in Akila, 9/28/99
Translation of its some portion from Gujarati by SV

Rajkot:  Phuljitsinghaji, a brother of brave and immortal martyr Bhagatsingh of whom the British government feared very much, has become a guest of Kathiawad today.  He boldly said today morning in the conference of the journalists that Pakistan is a problem like a painful vein of Bharat.  You could not negotiate with it.  Pakistan needs to be eliminated from the map of the world.

Very senior in age, Phuljitsingh indicated that Bharat has won three wars (with Pak) and has lost on negotiation tables (with Pak).  No nation can afford or tolerate it.  Bharat even gave back the territories she won during war, and how is the conduct of Pak in return?  (No appreciation at all.)  Pak gabbled free Kashmir and did  not even give back Bharatiya POW's.  Pak is deeply engaged in spreading terrorism in Bharat.  Pak's intent is mean.  The only solution to this problem is to blow off Pak.

He said that Bhagatsingh was a patriotic from his childhood.  At the age of 12, Bhagatsingh left school, went to the Jaliyanwala massacre place, and brought dirt from there to worship it there after.

The desire-flame for the service to the nation spread in Bhagatsingh's family from Tankara, the birth place of Sri Dayananda Saraswati who gave them the mantra of revolution.  His grandfather Sardar Arjunsingh once came on foot to pilgrimage to Tankara.  There, Sri Dayananda Saraswati performed the holy thread giving ceremony for him and gave him the mantra of revolution.

Dissatisfied and unhappy by to the current politics, Phuljitsingh indicated that Bharat needs a revolution at this time.  If a revolution could occur in the presence of the British, then why could it not occur now?  (It should be easy.)  He invited and advised people to shake off hopelessness and ignite the spark of revolution.
