Issue  #2

I wrote all of issue #1 without even
thinking about doing a God character. This may have been because a good concept for one didn't occur to me at the time, but once one did I made sure to get it on paper as fast as possible. The result is the Tom you see here, a pretty unexpected addition to the Steve's Damn Life cast.

Issue #2 was written at the velocity of about a page per day, excluding weekends. I had a pretty good time putting together this one, especially pits like Steve's history of rejection and the puzzle pieces. I now stick the puzzle pieces in wherever I can because, well, I think they're great. This issue ended up pretty short, because I figured that if I continued the story the way I had it planned it would end up too long. The result is the 11-page issue #3, as opposed to awkwardly dragging on this one.

Yeah, I know the ending here sucked again. You should definitely get used to crap endings.
