| QuickTime: Andrew Reynolds. Kickflip, then a backside flip. | 180 Kickflip 1. First, you need to be able to skate. Then, it helps if you can b/s 180 ollie. And don't forget, this is a flip trick, so ya gotta be able to kickflip pretty damned good. 2. Find a skateboard. 3. Step on the skateboard. 4. Push a little push so that you are rolling a little bit. It's easier if you do this trick while moving. 5. If your albino (like Whitey), then play that funky music, white boy. If your not then skip this step. J 6. Put your feet in the kickflip position with your back foot on the outside edge. This will help with the 180 part. 7. Ollie, kickflip, and turn backside in a smooth motion. Make you turn a whole 180 (it might help to turn your shoulders or your head first then the rest of your body follows). One of the most common problems that I see is people turn 90 degrees and the board turns 180. Something else that I do, is I try to extend my legs out extra so the board doesn't hit my feet, but that's just me, you can try it and if it helps then that's great. 8. Catch the board and land. Roll away like the sly, cool skateboarder that you are. 9. This is a backside 180 kickflip, aka: backside flip. If you do it fakie it's a half cab flip. If you do it frontside then it's a frontside flip, which is somewhere else in the trick tips cause it's a more complicated trick. |
