Decks
(by Brandon Keiler): any board with a monster mold is good, deca's are made with monster mold. some world industries boards are I think. note: my vocabulary is really
small. Maple: Good pop, concave, lasts long. If your fat you might not want to get a Maple cause after a while they will bust in half. I used mine for a year and one day I just stepped on it hard and it broke in half. Some maples are pickle boards, and damn do I hate pickles. Deca: A lot of pop, nice concave. I only buy deca's now. They are the shit! I suggest this board, they 360 flip easy. Shorty's: An ok board, decent pop. 'Nuff said mutha fucka! Blind: If any concave it will flatten out, chips very easily, decent pop. Stay away from blinds. Most people who say blinds are the best haven't tried anything but a blind. World Industries: An ok deck, I noticed that most beginners buy a world industries cause of the graphics. Black Label: My first black label was terrible, I'm never getting one again unless someone gives one to me or if I get paid to own a black label. it lost its pop after a short while, then its concave. I could ollie a foot with that board, with other decks I can get at least 2 feet. ShuvIt: Kyle got a ShuvIt. That board kicked ass from what he told me. I thought it was good too. They're small and light and have excellent pop. then he bought another ShuvIt after that one started chipping. The second day he had it it got a small chip on the tail. But he's had it for about 3 weeks now and it hasn't chipped anymore since. Right now I have no clue if I should get a ShuvIt or not. Probably not cause I only skate deca's now. That doesn't mean you can't get one!
