Shuricksoft Password Protector ver. 2.0
English release

This program is used to protect the system from unauthorized access by checking the password.

This program has a big history. When I started to program, I wrote Shuricksoft Password Protector ver. 1.0. But that program had no future. It was so because, at first, it was very easy, and at second, it had a very big bug: you could avoid entering of the password just by pressing Ctrl+Break. I didn't know how to change that and left works on it, despite it was my first program. After interrupt described in "Programming" part I decided to change this program to make it usefull and to delete bugs. I deleted bug "Ctrl+Break". But I got a question: where to put password information. First I selected system directory, after that directory, chosen by a user. But then I thought, in that case everybody could find a password just by booting from a diskette and searching needed file. Then I decided to put the password straight into the program. It caused some little problems, but the main was that user was unable to choose a password himself. But I also thought that in that case I'd let a user to write me his wishes about changing a program and choosing a password. It would be positive for user and for me. For users: ability of making some changes into the program, for me: ability of control number of users, who uses my program, more contingency to get users' review on my program... I think it's now enough history. Now let's begin.

User's guide is written in README.TXT file. But for anticipatorily user's understanding how program works and how to use it, I'll publish it here either.
To activate the program you should add the following string to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file:

c:\proteng\proteng.exe
