KiTTiE all started as a garage band in London, Ontario, Canada in 1996, after Mercedes and Fallon met in a gym class and decided to start playing cover songs. That's when Morgan joined in.They later met Tanya Chandler who was the original bassist. Although Talena wasn't the original bassist, she was still a fan of them and just before they recorded the Spit album, Tanya decided to quit. Talena gladly took Tanya's place, but she had to learn bass since she originally played guitar and had to learn all the chords in about 2 weeks. Later, Fallon quit for unknown reasons. So now KiTTiE as we know it is:
