2008

Two male COHO Salmons (2 lbs 12 oz and 1 lb 8 oz) caught from Burnham Harbor, Chicago using “Marabou Jig” on Nov. 30, 2008

 

 

A small Northern Pike (1.5 lbs) caught from Des Plaine River near Oak Park, IL using “Swedish Pimple” on Nov. 9, 2008

 

Two Carps (8 lbs, 23 inches and 6 lbs, 21 inches) caught from Des Plaine River near Oak Park, IL using nightcrawler on Nov. 2, 2008

 

 

A sucker (4 lbs) caught from Lake Michigan at New Buffalo, Michigan using nightcrawler on Oct. 12, 2008

 

 

A largemouth bass (3 lbs) caught from Lake Michigan at New Buffalo, Michigan using “Bluegill” on Sept. 27, 2008

A smallmouth bass (about 0.5 lb), a Rock Bass and numerous small bluegills and gobies were caught in Sept 2008 at New Buffalo, Michigan.

 

7 carps (1.5-2 lbs) and 2 small catfishes, caught from Cedar Lake, Indiana using dough ball (cornmeal) on Sept. 1-2, 2008.

Bought two cheap combo rods, hook, sinker and landing net etc. from Wal-mart by the end of Aug. 2008.

 

2007

1 carp  (1.5-2 lbs) caught from Cedar Lake, Indiana using dough ball (cornmeal) on May 27, 2007.

 

2006

My first fish, a tiny catfish, was caught from Chicago River near Chinatown, Chicago, Illinois using nightcrawler in 2006 during Illinois free fishing days June 6-9.
