| Ever Since her childhood on the beautiful island of Taiwan, | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Shun-An Lee has been filled with a love of nature and art. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| She grew up experiencing Chinese traditional art and its capacity | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| to bring out the subtle harmonies in natural landscape and wildlife subject. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Later , in the 1980s She traveled to the United States to devote attention | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| to a broader range of subjects and to develop her love of the abstract. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Her lyrical style emphasizes color relationships, | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| with the brushstrokes themselves taking on nearly emotional quality. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
