As a youngling in the Jedi academy, Slick was quickly recognized as the strongest, most dedicated jedi in the class. So dedicated in fact, that he dabbled in the dark side from time to time in order to use his full potential. Unaware of the consequences, he sank deeper into the darkness. After besting grown jedi masters at such a young age, he was moved to the Jedi Council. The youngest Jedi Master since Anikin Skywalker. He soon became prideful and arrogant.
After being dismissed by Luke Skywalker himself, Slick swore to become so powerful that he could never truly die. That the force would become his ally, even in darkness. After many conflicts with the Jedi, Slick took refuge with a group of mercenaries. Through his travels he became much more powerful and soon slipped entirely to the darkside. Being renamed as Lord Barak, he became the most deadly outcast with a lightsaber, able to leap from foe to foe before they can even move, striking them down with a single blow.
Soon the young Lord Barak met his match when confronted by Three jedi bots. Identified as Soldor creations, Lord Barak alerted both the Sith and the Jedi Council. After which he was sent on a mission from the Jedi as a mercenary alongside of a soldier and a scoundrel.
