The Youth Center...................
Luis was just finishing up some last minute paper work at his desk when Kay Bennett came rushing in to his office. "Luis you have to help me " Kay yelled.
Luis was on his feet in an instant. He followed Kay out to the gym. There was a group of kids there and they all looked eager to see him. Luis came in the room and he saw Sheridan in the middle of the group. As soon as he came in the room, the kids pushed Sheridan over to him and then Kay announced that they all wanted to learn the Tango. Luis rolled his eyes. He had not planned on doing another Tango with Miss Sheridan Crane. She saw him roll his eyes and smiled at him! "Oh Luis, you can't let these kids down. They are all so eager to learn!"
The music started then and Luis held out his hand to her and struck a pose. Sheridan circled Luis and then took his hand. He pulled her to him and she drew in a breath at the sheer strength of his muscled chest. He felt her chest heave as he held her against him. Still he fought down the attraction he felt for her. He had to. It would never work. She was too stubborn and pigheaded. But she sure was sweet and so beautiful as well. She had such a good heart and she was smart and strong too. She was also a very good Tango dancer. Luis watched her eyes as they continued to do the Tango. God she was the most fascinating woman he had ever known. As he pulled her back into his arms once again, he let his hands drift a little farther down on her back and then down onto her beautiful round bottom. He cupped her bottom in his hands and it pulled her even closer to him. She raised startled eyes to his and he saw her attraction to him mirrored in her eyes. He had to let her go and as she turned around he let his hand drift ever so slowly down her body and it lingered just a fraction of a second longer at her breast. He once again felt her indrawn breath and it made him feel bolder! He felt her tremble when he spun her out and then dipped her. The song ended and the kids cheered and Luis realized for the first time since they had started dancing that there were other people watching. He felt a bit embarrassed, but then they were kids so what did they know. It was all just dancing to them. As they all left, Sheridan walked over to the chair and picked up her coat and purse.
"Well, I guess I better be going to Luis" Sheridan said.
Luis nodded,"Yup I guess you better." Sheridan put her arm out to put her coat on and Luis jumped forward to put help her. He didn't want to see her go yet, but could think of no reason to ask her to stay.
"Well, bye then." Sheridan said when her coat was on.
"Bye" said Luis and watched her walk out of the door of the gym. He was stupid to think she would even care what he thought. But he thought that maybe just as she walked out the door, that she had turned back and he saw a longing in her eyes. She looked lonely there for a second and it surprised him. He went back to his office and sat down to finish up what he had been doing. It would only take a few minutes.
Along side the road...........
Sheridan swore at the dumb car, but it didn't help. It still would not start back up. She hit the steering wheel in frustration. Stupid car she thought. Now what was she going to do she wondered when a police car pulled up in back of her. She was relieved to see it and hoped that it was Luis. It was and she got out to meet him as he came to her door.
"What's up Sheridan?" Luis asked when he reached her.
"Oh this dumb car wont start back up." Sheridan replied. Luis motioned to her to move aside and slipped behind the wheel of her very expensive car and tried the ignition. Then he tapped the glass in front of the steering wheel and grunted.
"What?" Sheridan asked, "What is it." Luis got out and tried to hide his smirk, but couldn't quite manage it.
"Sheridan, when was the last time you got gas in your car?" Sheridan looked confused.
"I don't know. Why? " she asked.
"Oh" Luis said, "It's just that cars do need gas to start!"
Sheridan looked embarrassed and asked, "I'm out of gas?" Luis nodded and went back to his car and got a gas can from the back. He put the gas in her tank as he explained that he had just bought it for the lawn mower at home on his way home just now. Sheridan just frowned at him in displeasure. When he was done, she thanked him and got in and drove off leaving Luis staring after her. He had a strange look on his face as she watched him in her rearview mirror. He made her want to turn around and go ask him to come with her. Suddenly she made a U-turn and went back. "Luis, please let me make you dinner at my cottage tonight to repay your help?" Sheridan said as she rolled to a stop at his side. Luis answered yes OK and she drove home to plan a dinner. Luis stared after her car and was dumbfounded. What the hell had he just done? How could he spend all the time with her in such close proximity and control these feelings that came pouring into him when he was near her? He got in the car and drove off wondering what had come over him.
Sheridan's cottage............
Sheridan put the finishing touches to the table for two she had set. She struck a match and lit the candles on the table as well. There now everything was ready except Luis. She was just glancing at her watch to see when he was due when there was a knock at the door. She opened it and drew in a breath at the sight of him. He was in a suit. She had seen him in a tux on several occasions, but never in a suit and tie. He looked good in it, if not a bit uncomfortable. When she motioned him to come in, he produced a bottle of Pinot Greggio and a bunch of flowers from behind his back. He looked a bit embarrassed and blushed when she took the flowers. "Luis, thank you so much!" Sheridan exclaimed.
"Oh its nothing" Luis answered and turned away to drop his coat on her arm chair. She saw him glance back at her as she put the flowers to her nose and inhaled their scent. They were beautiful and she went to put them in a vase. When she turned around, she discovered that Luis had followed her into the kitchen. It was a very small kitchen and when she turned so quickly, she found herself right up against Luis. He put his hands out to steady her so she would not fall back and a shock went up her back where he touched her. He didn't let go right away nor did she pull back. They stood just looking into one another's eyes and slowly their lips edged closer to each other. Luis paused for only a second before he settled his lips over hers. She was surprised at how soft his lips were. The other men in her life had always kissed her with sloppy wet lips that made her cringe in disgust. Luis' lips were feather soft as he slid them over hers. He put his hands around her face and cupped her cheek and the other hand was on her back pulling her against him. She threaded her hand into his hair and let her other hand fall on his chest over his heart. He kissed her as she had always dreamed a kiss should be. His lips ran over her lips in a caress so sweet and he wanted so much more. He wanted to taste her and he deepened the kiss. His lips coaxed hers apart and his tongue slid lightly out to touch her lips and gently trace over her lips. She made a soft sound in the back of her throat and he was encouraged to continue. His tongue went softly into her mouth and over her tongue. Luis was lost then at the first taste of her sweet mouth. If he had ever had a chance to stop, it was lost at that moment. She tasted as sweet as sugar and he was hungry for her. He took his tongue back out with the intention of going back in for another taste, but her tongue followed his back out and into his mouth. He groaned as her tongue mated with his and they moved even closer together. He pressed her back against the counter and she felt his manhood against her leg. She knew they should stop, but she could not bring herself to even try. His hand made its way up under her shirt and he caressed her nipple through the silk of her bra. She unbuttoned his suit coat and pushed it off his shoulders. It fell to the floor in a heap and she went to work on the buttons of his shirt. Soon, it too fell to the floor and she ran her hands over his smooth muscled chest. He was so strong and it made her tremble with the thought of him above her, his muscles tensed as he made love to her. He unbuttoned her red shirt she wore and pulled it free of the black skirt she wore. His mouth replaced his hand as he kissed and teased her nipple till she threw back her head in excitement. He stood up then and picked her up and pulled her against him and she felt how much he wanted her. Her skirt rose up to her hips and he rocked against her to show her how much he wanted her. He came back up to her lips then and kissed her passionately and deeply as he walked from the kitchen and through the livingroom to her bedroom. He laid her on the bad and flipped the lamp next to her bed on. She smiled up at him as he came down next to her and pulled her to him again. He reached to undo her skirt and slid it down her legs and off. He put his hand over her apex and felt the heat. She wanted him as much as he did her. He slipped her underwear off then and moved her legs apart. He kissed her there and she gasped loudly. He looked up and saw shock on her face. He smiled at her and kissed her again. She had never been kissed so intimately before and she was in shocked delight. She felt a feeling she had never had before with any other man and she rose to a peak and suddenly dropped off. He felt her go and went back up her body to her lips and kissed her as she rode the bliss. She came down then and she looked him in the eyes and her hand went to his pants and unbuttoned them and slid the zipper down. Luis was to eager to be free though and he pulled his pants and underwear off. He tried to lay down on top of her then, but she wriggled out from under him and surprised him by pushing him onto his back and her mouth descended on him. He had not expected her to do this and he was pleasantly surprised. She let her mouth show him how she felt about him. He could not take it anymore and he pulled her up and rolled on top of her. He slid his knee in between her legs and parted them. His manhood pressed against her and she wanted him to love her. He paused and looked right in her eyes. "Sheridan" Luis asked, "Are you sure?" In answer, she took his hips and pulled him down to her. He paused for only a second and then entered her body. She was so perfect that he thought he had died and gone to heaven. It was like she was meant to be his, They fit like two pieces of a puzzle. He kissed her then and his tongue matched his strokes into her body. He was trying to go slowly but she arched her hips and encouraged him to move to a faster pace. She wanted him to take her to that edge again. She pulled his face to hers and wrapped her legs around his hips. He took her challenge and moved faster.
"Sheridan" Luis gasped.
"Oh Luis" Sheridan whispered. "I love you." That did it. Luis could no longer hold on and his release came at the same time as his words to her.
"I love you too" he whispered as he filled her. He stopped and lay still just feeling her beneath him as he took in what had just happened. He loved her he realized. That was a fact and she loved him. He rolled to his side taking her with him. He cuddled her to him and kissed her temple.
"Now that's what I call a Tango officer" she whispered.
Luis chuckled, "I aim to please Mam. I am just sorry it took so long to realize I am in love with you." Sheridan smiled up at him.
"Why didn't we see it before?" she asked. Luis smiled at her and kissed her cheek.
"That's what happens when two stubborn people meet." Luis laughed.
"Oh my dinner," Sheridan exclaimed then.
"That's OK" Luis said. I'm not all that hungry now. At least not for food" he said with a grin. Sheridan answered his grin with a kiss and they forgot all about eating as they danced the Tango all night long!
