Chapter 1
It was the start of a new day. A new life. Yes, Sheridan Crane was starting over. She had moved from her quiet home in Harmony to the busy streets of New York. It was so different there. In Harmony everyone knew each other. It was so small and simple. New York was the complete opposite, especially in the area she worked in.
At the age of 24, Sheridan was on the road to success. She had heard that you could make it big in New York, so she packed up and moved. She was know working at a small law firm in the city. It wasn't very popular or busy, but it was a start. She just wished it was in a better neighborhood. Everyday she saw the homeless begging for money or food. She felt so bad for them. She used to give them money, but they usually would buy liquor or cigarettes.
If they had bought food it would have been a different story, but she wouldn't take part in them killing themselves. The worst was when she saw the little homeless children. She offered one food one time, but the child's mother said that they didn't take handouts. It was so frustrating and she shouldn't have cared like so many others, but she was a kind and gentle creature who had a heart of gold.
Work went by fast that day. Sheridan had taken on a case that had basically taken up her whole day. It had been stressful, but it made the day go by quicker. Now, she sat at her desk watching the snow fall. She loved to watch it fall. She found it to be one of the most beautiful things ever. Sheridan looked at the clock. It was 5 o'clock, quitting time. Now she could have the whole weekend to herself. She couldn't wait to get home and take a nice bubble bath. It would calm her nerves.
It was already dark when Sheridan had left the building. She was one of the last to leave. She hated that it got dark so early. She wouldn't have minded except for the bad neighborhood. She was always afraid of getting mugged. So far she had been lucky. As Sheridan turned down the block to where her car was parked she noticed the street was unusually dark. She then realized the lamp post had gone out. Great, just what she needed! It was ok she told herself her car was only up the block there was nothing to be afraid of and that's when it happened. She felt the hand clamp over her mouth. She heard him tell her not to scream and to just give her the purse. She was scared and without thinking kicked him in the leg. Then she ran, ran with every ounce of energy she had, but it was no good. He dragged her into an alleyway and turned her around. That's when she first saw him. He was big. He had to be at least 6 feet tall and he had to weigh at least 200 pounds. His breath smelled of liquor and he was dirty. His clothes were wrinkled and mismatched. If she thought she was afraid before she was wrong, now she was afraid. He looked her up and down and told her to give him her coat. She took it off and gave it to him hoping he would leave, but she thought wrong. He eyed her like she was candy. She was wearing a knee length skirt and a sleeveless turtle neck. It hugged all her curves. He had a jacket that went to the skirt, but she had let it at the office. God how she wished she hadn't. He put his hand to her face and rubbed her cheek. "I'm not gonna hurt you were just gonna have a little fun." That's when the tears started. He was going to rape her. Why hadn't she just given him the purse? Why had she kicked him? He pushed her into the snow. It was so cold, she thought she would freeze. She struggled a bit, but stopped when he slapped her in the face. It stung and because it was so cold the slap was 10 times worse. He pressed his lips to hers and brutally assaulted her lips. She felt dirty.
His hand slid up her thigh and she cried harder. He touched her through her panties and she shivered out of disgust. She thought she might vomit right then. Suddenly the creep was off her. She didn't know how, but she was thankful. She saw another man then. He was also tall, but much skinnier. He looked homeless too. He was fighting her attacker. She knew she should make a run for it and was going to but saw that her "hero" was not fairing well. Her attacker was so much bigger than he was. She saw her attacker pull an old bat from a dumpster nearby and when he went to hit the other man she couldn't bare it. She jumped in front of the bat and felt it connect with her head. It hurt so much. She laid there thinking this was it. She was going to die. With blurry eyes she watched the fight go on, but slowly drifted into the darkness, into unconsciousness.
Chapter 2
It was cold and her head hurt tremendously. Where was she? It wasn't a house or an apartment and there was no furniture. But there was a fire coming form the corner. She had a blanket covering her and there was a warm cloth on her forehead. Then she saw a shadow. She prayed it wasn't her attacker. Oh no! Now it was all coming back to her the attacker, the fight, the other man. The shadow grew closer to her and finally came face to face with her frail body. It wasn't her attacker, but a different man. The man who had saved her. Now that she saw him up close she took in his appearance.
He was dark, possibly Italian or Spanish. He had the most gorgeous brown eyes and he had a slight beard. He was tall and not skinny as in frail but not large. He looked healthy, which was hard to believe since he obviously lived in this shack. He wore worn out jeans and old sneakers. He had on a loose black shirt too. He was homeless. The two continued to stare at each other. He had looked at her while was had slept and new she was very beautiful, but when she opened those eyes he knew she had to be a goddess. They were so blue. She had to be a model or a movie star, but then why would she be in this neighborhood.
He was the first one to speak, "How are you feeling?" he asked. She didn't feel scared of this man for some reason and so she replied with a groan "my head hurts, a lot." She tried to sit up, but found that she became extremely dizzy when doing so. "Lay down" he said. "Your only going to feel worse if you get up." It was a little late for that. "I need to get home," Sheridan said knowing fully well that there was no way that she could drive. "I think you need to get to a hospital first," he replied. "What is your name?" he then asked. "Sheridan, Sheridan Crane. Yours?" "Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald." "Well, Sheridan you have to get to a doctor, so where is your car, so I can take you to one?" "You know how to drive?" Sheridan asked quite surprised. "Of course I know how to drive, I wasn't always like this," Luis said. Sheridan felt bad now. Why did she always say the wrong things?
At the hospital everyone kept staring and Sheridan knew Luis was uncomfortable. She felt extremely bad. She knew there was only one thing to do so she turned to Luis and said "You don't have to stay. I know this is the last place you want to be and I'm grateful for all you've done. I would give you money, but that creep stole my purse." She really didn't want him to go and hoped he would stay. Luis could see this and jokingly replied "I can't leave you. How will you get home?" She hadn't thought of that, but it didn't matter, he was staying.
It turned out Sheridan had a nasty bump on her head and a mild concussion. She would need bed rest for at least a week. This was not what she wanted to hear. She had to go to work. Urrgghh!!! This was infuriating. Why did this have to happen to her? She was glad Luis was with her though.
The car ride to Sheridan's house was silent and soon Sheridan drifted to sleep. When they arrived at their destination Luis didn't have the heart to wake her, so he very carefully picked her up and carried her to the door. She instinctively snuggled into him. It felt so right Luis thought. Once Luis arrived at the door he realized there were no keys to get in, but without a doubt he knew Sheridan would have one under the doormat and he was right. Luis carried her up the stair and placed her on her bed. He covered her up and then took the time to survey her room. It was simple and nice. Nothing fancy, but nice. He was about to leave her room and head out when Sheridan began to cry out in her sleep. Immediately he was at her side. He didn't know why but he never wanted to see this woman in any pain. He gently shook her and told her everything was alright. She snuggled into his arms and soon fell back to her peaceful sleep. Luis told himself he would leave as soon as he made sure she was asleep, but within minutes he was also asleep with an angel in his arms.
Chapter 3
Sheridan stirred in her asleep and looked at her alarm clock. It was 7 o'clock. She thought about the horrible dream she had had yesterday. The only good part about it was Luis. That's when she realized she wasn't alone. Someone's arm was draped over her waist. Oh no!!! It wasn't a dream. It was real. That meant she must look like hell. Wait who cares about that, why was someone in her bed. Very carefully she turned and saw Luis. She took the time to study his features more closely. He had a small scar above his eyebrow and a cut on his forhead most likely from the fight yesterday. He was gorgeous, but in desperate needed a shave. That's when she found his chocolate eyes starring back at her. She gasped in shock and he jumped out of the bed. "Umm I carried you in and then I put you on the bed and I was gonna leave but you had a nightmare and i stayed alittle bit and i guess i fell asleep. I'm sorry." Sheridan didn't know how to react to what he had just mumbled. She had barely understood it because he said it so fast. She could see he was really nervous about it, so she did the only thing she could. She laughed. She thought it was too cute that he was standing there like a little boy who got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Luis was confused by her laughhter, so he asked what was so funny and she told him. Now it was his turn to laugh. He didn't know why but he felt so comfortable with Sheridan. Sherian told him to sit down because they had to talk. "Luis I want to thank you for all that you've done for me. You saved my life and you'll always be my hero. If I can do anything to repay you just let me know." "Sheridan, I was just glad I was where I was when i was. You don't have to do anything to repay me. Seeing you here is enough. Well I better leave I'm sure you have some things you wanna do." Sheridan didn't know why but when he mentioned leaving her heart fell. She had to stop him. "Luis, wait. I know you said I don't have to repay you but let me cook you breakfast and you could use my shower. I even have an extra toothbrush. Ok?"
She hoped he said yes. Luis thought she was too cute. "Ok Sheridan, but there has to be some changes in your plan. You need all the rest you can get so you take a shower while I cook. Is pancakes ok?" He amazed her. He knew how to cook too. "It's fine Luis." And with that they headed in opposite directions.
Sheridan ate while Luis showered, but when she was done she searched through her closet. She still had some of her nephew's clothes at her house from when he had visited her. She was sure Luis could fit into them. She laid them out. When she turned around her eyes almost popped out of her head. She found Luis standing there in a towel. God he looked good. She hadn't realized how muscular he was. All in all he looked yummy. The only thing wrong was that beard, she hated it.
While Sheridan was checking out Luis he was doing the same. She was dressed in a short white cotton bathrobe that showed off her sexy legs. Her hair had a slight curl in it and her face was bare of makeup. She looked great.
Luis was the first to speak. "Thanks for the shower Sheridan." "Your welcome. Can I just ask you one question though Luis. Why do you keep the beard?" "To be honest I'm not bery good at shaving. I always mark up my face." Now he was embarrassed and Sheridan knew it. Sheridan took Luis' hand and led him back into the bathroom. She grabbed one of her razors and some shaving cream and boosted herself on top of the counter. She then moved her legs apart and pulled his close. With that she spread the shaving cream on his face and she bagean to shave him. He didn't know if it was that he was too shocked to say anything or it was the fact that he thoroughly enjoyed being so close to her. When she was done she kissed his cheek to make sure it was smooth and rubbed her hand across his chin. "Perfect," she said. It was in that moment that Luis thought yes you are perfect. It was a moment meant for lovers to share.
Chapter 4
It had been two months since the day Luis had come into her life. He was now living with her. They had decided that Luis would stay with Sheridan and she would help him get a job. He could always get his own apartment when he earned enough money. It turned out that the job he got was being an assistant, like a secretary, at the law firm. It wasn't the best pay, but it was a hell of a start for him.
Sheridan and Luis had grown close in the past months. They had basically become best friends. There were no secrets between them. Luis had even told her why he was homeless. It turned out that his mother single handedly raised him until he was 14 when she passed away. He had no other so he was placed in a home for orphans. He was treated horribly there and when he turned 18 he was basically told to leave because he was of age. He didn't know what the world was like. No one had ever taught him how to get a job and he had no money so he remained homeless.
There was something Luis and Sheridan didn't know these past two months though. They were being watched. The man watching them was waiting for the right time to strike, when Sheridan was alone. Ever since the night he met her he knew he had to have her even if he had to force her. If only that damn Luis would leave her side for 2 seconds. He was always hanging around her. If he didn't know better he'd think they were a couple. He knew he had to be patient and he would. He would wait until the time was right.
"Sheridan, hurry up! We're gonna be late for work." What was it about women? They always took so long to get ready. It didn't matter though because she always looked beautiful. In fact she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. "I'll be down in a minute," he heard Sheridan say breaking him from hid thoughts. When she came down he couldn't help but whistle. She looked great as usual in a blue pants suit. Sheridan blushed a shade of red and playfully hit him. With that Luis began to tickle her sides until her knees began to cave in and she started to fall. Luis grabbed her before she did, but lost his balance and they both fell to the ground. Sheridan was on top of Luis with her face inches away from his. She wanted so badly to kiss him, but she had a fear of rejection. What she didn't know was Luis wanted o kiss her too. He was afraid that if he did it would ruin their friendship, so they helped each other up.
Work went slow that day. That was until Sheridan found out some disturbing news. One of her coworkers, Beth, who she didn't particularly care for had asked Luis on a date. The worst part about it was he said yes. Sheridan didn't know what to do. Luis wasn't hers, but oh how she wished he was. With that she went into the bathroom and had herself a good cry. She didn't come out until there were no traces of her crying left.
Luis knew something was wrong. Sheridan was quieter than usual during the ride home. They usual talked about their day, but she seemed angry. If he only knew the half of it. When they arrived home Sheridan asked him what time his date was. "How did you know I have a date," he asked to which she replied "office gossip." "Well, it's at 8." "Fine." Sheridan didn't know that Luis had only said yes to see what her reaction would be. After Luis had left Sheridan drew herself a nice bath. She hoped it would calm her down. It did a little. When she was done she slipped into a short black nightie and got into bed. She hoped that sleep would come to her soon. It didn't though. She glanced at the clock, it was only 9:30. Then she heard the door. Could Luis be home so early? Maybe his date went horrible? If only she thought. She laid there with her back to the door until she heard him come up the stirs and open her door. It had become their ritual to say goodnight to each other. She was going to pretend she was asleep, but she did want to talk to him. Being angry with him for something that wasn't his fault was not going to solve anything, so she turned to greet him. The only problem was it wasn't Luis.
Chapter 5
Luis looked at his watch, only 9:30. He wished Beth would just shut up. All she talked about was herself. He had never met someone so conceited. She was the total opposite of Sheridan. Ah, Sheridan. The love of his life. Did he just say that? Did he just say love? What was he thinking? They had only known each other for 2 months. He had to admit though that she was perfect. Kind, gentle, warm, caring, beautiful and sexy all rolled into one. Now that he was thinking of Sheridan he wondered what she was doing now. In fact he decided he was going to give her a call. It would be an excuse to leave Beth, if only for a couple of minutes anyway. With that he excused himself and left for the payphone.
Ring! Ring! "I wouldn't answer that if I was you," the intruder said while stepping into the light. Oh my God she thought it was the man that had attacked her 2 months ago. Sheridan just looked at the phone. It didn't matter that he had told her not to answer the phone because she was still in shock and couldn't move if she wanted to. After about 10 rings the phone finally stopped. "Good girl," the man said. Sheridan looked at the man and on instinct jumped off the bed and tried to run. It was no use though he was so big and he pushed her back down with ease. Then he uttered those horrible words he had said the first time he attacked her, "I'm not gonna hurt you, were just gonna have a little fun."
It had been 5 minutes since Luis had called Sheridan. Why hadn't she picked up? What if something was wrong? He was getting more worried by the second. He had to get home to Sheridan. "Beth, um I suddenly don't feel so good. I have go home." With that he left leaving a very shocked Beth thinking how rude.
The man bent down and straddled Sheridan's legs. He then bent down and grabbed Sheridan by her arms, kissing her roughly. "Stop!!" she yelled. She could smell the liquor on his breath. "Shut up, you bitch! I'm gonna have my way with you now!..the man screamed back as he began kissing her neck. He pinned Sheridan's hands up above her head with one of his hands and with the other he began groping her breasts through her nightie. Sheridan had never felt so violated. Next the man single-handedly ripped off her nightie. He then began kissing her breasts. He nipped at them and when he nipped to hard Sheridan cried out in pain. She tried to wrestle her way out of his grip, but it was no use. He was to strong. The tears streamed down Sheridan's face and she wished that Luis was there. All she could do was cry and bear it. The intruder ripped off her panties and unzipped his pants. Oh God he was going to go through with it.
Luis pulled into the driveway and ran up the stairs to the front door. He hoped Sheridan was just sleeping, but he couldn't shake the bad feeling he had. He threw open the door and rushed up to Sheridan's room. As he climbed the stairs he heard something that shook him to the core. "LUIS!!!!! HELP ME!!! PLEASE!!!" Oh no! It was Sheridan. She was in trouble. He raced into her room and that's when he saw him. Her attacker on top of her naked body about to thrust into her. She was screaming and struggling. Luis grabbed the vase off Sheridan's dresser and threw it at the man. He then pounced on him and threw him to the ground. He proceeded to punch him until he passed out. He then took some clothes and tied him up. Luis then went to Sheridan. Her naked body was curled up in a ball, shaking, and she was crying hysterically. He touched her shoulder and she cringed. "Sheridan???" Luis called softly. Its me, Luis. Sheridan thought she heard Luis call her but figured it was just a figment of her imagination. "Sheridan???" Luis asked again as he slowly turned her around. She slowly looked up tears streaming down her face and her eyes wide with horror. "Lu-luis??? Is it really you.... you came," Sheridan said softly as she threw herself into his arms and buried her face in his chest and sobbed. "Oh, Luis!!" "It's okay now. I'm here. It's gonna be okay, I promise."
Chapter 6
It was a week later and Sheridan was still a mess. Every night she had the same nightmare that Luis hadn't come in time. It killed Luis to see her like this. Thank God there was no way the man could get to her. The police had come and dragged him off. Later Luis had gotten a call that the man had hung himself in his jail cell. Luis knew it was wrong to want someone dead, but he was glad the man was dead. Now he had to concentrate on Sheridan getting better.
It was another horrible night. Luis could hear Sheridan sobbing in her sleep. He wished he could take her pain away. He had called her nephew, Ethan, and told him to come hoping it would bring her some comfort. Ethan was supposed to be there tomorrow and Luis was grateful for that. Luis slowly got out of his bed and went into Sheridan's room. He gently shook her and told her everything was all right. He gave her a hug and a kiss on the head and turned to leave when Sheridan's voice stopped him. "Luis will you stay with me tonight?" she asked looking at him through watery eyes. Luis couldn't have said no if he wanted to. He would do anything to make her feel better. With that he climbed into her bed and she crawled into his arms. They both thought to themselves that it felt so right. Within minutes they were both soundly asleep.
The next morning Luis woke and found his arm to have a tingling sensation in it. When he opened his eyes to find out why he discovered Sheridan still asleep in his arms. She was beautiful. How he wished he could kiss her lips, but with what she had just been through he wouldn't dare. He saw Sheridan begin to stir and soon found himself starring into her gorgeous eyes. "HI handsome," she said. "Hey," he replied back kissing her on her head. Sheridan looked up at him and eyed his lips. They looked so good. She wish she could kiss them. He always made her feel safe and she wanted more than just friendship. She wanted love. With that she lifted her head and pressed her lips against his. Luis was shocked, but happy at the same time. Luis moaned when he felt the tip of Sheridan's tongue sliding along his bottom lip. He opened his mouth in response and her tongue immediately went in and collided with his. His tongue thrusted forward and followed hers back into her sweet mouth. Now it was Sheridan's turn to moan as Luis’ tongue moved above her own, then underneath it, and then finally colliding with the tip of it again. His tongue went back out and Sheridan broke the kiss. They just looked at each other. They had felt the tiny sparks go off as their lips had met. "That was an amazing kiss," Sheridan said. "Yes, it was," Luis responded while going in for another.
After a couple of more minutes of kissing Luis told Sheridan to shower while he made breakfast. While he was cooking he heard the doorbell and was ecstatic when he saw Ethan. He told him Sheridan was in the shower and that he could wait for her in the kitchen while he cooked so they could chat. They chatted a bit when Ethan asked "Are you and Sheridan a serious couple?" Luis didn't really know how to respond so he told him his story about how Sheridan graciously took him in off the streets. Luis had never seen a man get so mad. Ethan took Luis by the collar and threw him against the wall. "So your the reason my aunt was hurt. Your a bum too and your "friends" came looking for you. What did they want? Money you owed them for your drugs? I swear if you ever touched my aunt your dead. Get out! Get out now!!" Luis was in shock, but now that he thought about maybe he was the reason she got hurt. Maybe if she hadn't taken him in things would have been different. He didn't know so he did the only thing he could, he left.
Twenty minutes later Sheridan came down to the kitchen. "Ethan, oh I'm so glad your here. I've missed you so much," She said as she hugged him hello. He always said he was glad and told her she had nothing to worry about anymore because that bum was out of her life. Sheridan gazed at him confused and said "what bum?" "That Luis character. It's all his fault you were hurt and almost raped. I threw him out." "WHAT??? Luis was the one who saved me. How could you. Oh no I have to find him," she said as she ran out of the house and into her car. She knew Ethan thought he had did the right thing, but Luis was what she needed. She would find him and bring him back if it was the last thing she did.
Chapter 7
It was 9:00 at night and Sheridan was so tired. She had been looking for Luis the whole day. She looked in all their favorite coffeeshops and stores.
She looked at the office and at the park. She even went back to the little shack he had once lived in, but found nothing. This couldn't be happening. She had to find him. He had to be somewhere. She looked out the window as she drove down the city streets. A motel caught her eye and she thought to herself. Luis did have money on him maybe he did go to a motel. With that she pulled up to the front door. She asked the manager if she had a guest by the name of Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald and he said yes and gave her his room number. She ran out the door and went to find his room. (It was one of those motels were you can walk up the person's door from the sidewalk.) Sheridan drove up to Luis' room number and prepared for the worst. She finally gained her courage and went to knock at his door.
Luis was in his room feeling sorry for himself when he heard a knock. "Who could that be?" he said to himself. When he opened the door he was shocked at who he saw, Sheridan. "Sheridan, what are you doing here?" "Looking for you," she replied. "Why?" "Because I want you to come back. Ethan didn't mean what he said. He doesn't know you like I do." "Listen Sheridan, Ethan was right. This is all my fault. I put your life in danger." "No, it wasn't. Please come back with me!" Luis could see she was getting hysterical, but he had to do this. "No, Sheridan. It's best if you just leave and try to forget you ever met me!" he yelled. With that he shut the door. He couldn't see her cry. He hated to see her cry. "Luis, please," Sheridan sobbed. "I need you Luis. I'm in love with you!!" The words had finally been spoken and there was no way they could be taken back. Luis wanted so badly to tell her he loved her too but he wouldn't put her life in danger again.
***1:00 A.M.****
Luis couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about what Sheridan had said. She loved him. It was more than he could hope for. God this was so frustrating! He wished he could have opened the door and swept her into his arms, but he couldn't. He thought more about the situation. Was it really his fault? I mean the creep did have her purse with her address in it. Well, it was to late now. Even if he tried to go back Sheridan would probably hate him. She had opened up and said those 3 magic words and he had rejected her. He had to get out of there, out of town. Maybe he'd go to a different state or something. With that he rushed out the door, but stopped when he saw it. There was Sheridan's car and she was curled into a ball in the front seat. She had stayed. She looked so uncomfortable. She was a small woman, but it was a tight between the seat and the steering wheel. He now knew he couldn't just leave. This wonderful woman loved him and if he didn't tell her how he felt he really would hurt her. Luis slowly crept over to the car door. Very carefully he opened it and lifted a sleeping Sheridan into his arms. He shut the door and slipped the key into his room. He carried her to the bed in the middle of the room and gently placed her on it. He slipped her shoes off and lifted her so he could take her jacket off. He then pulled back the covers. She must have been freezing out there. He placed her under the covers and tucked her in. He brushed some hair out of her face and kissed her head. Ever so softly he whispered into ear "I love you too." He then slipped off his jeans and shirt. Clad in only black boxers he went to the other side of the bed and got in. He then took Sheridan into his arms and fell asleep.
Chapter 8
Sheridan stirred and looked at the clock in front of her. It was 3:30 in the morning. Where was she? She wasn't at home. That's when she realized she wasn't alone. There was someone holding her against themselves. Oh no!! she thought. What if someone had kidnapped her? Ok she thought. Get it together Sheridan and stay calm. She very slowly turned her body and came face to face with Luis. "Oh thank God," she said. Her voice awoke Luis from his slumber and soon she had a pair of the most gorgeous chocolate eyes starring back at her. "Hi," he said unsure of how she would react. "Hi," she replied. Luis didn't really know what to say. "I didn't want you to catch a cold so I brought you in. I hope you don't mind." "Not at all. Thank you. Luis about what I said before..." Luis cut her off with a kiss. "Sheridan i love you too. I was scared. I didn't want anything to happen to you. I wanted to protect you." "Oh Luis," Sheridan exclaimed. "I love you so much." With that they began to kiss. Innocent kisses turned wild. Soon Luis was on top of Sheridan and her shirt was off. His hands caressed her breasts through her lacy bra while Sheridan's hand traced the bulge in his boxers. Luis' hands moved down to the zipper on her pants and soon she was only left in panties and a bra. Sheridan flipped them over and began to plant little kisses down his neck an on his chest. She felt so alive and wanted to please Luis in any way she could. She slowly licked her way down to his waist band and slid his boxers down his waist. Luis couldn't take her sweet torture so he took this chance to flip them back over. His hands circled her back and he unhooked her bra. Sheridan looked at him as his hands traced a trail from her neck and over her round breasts. He then took one of her hard peaks into his mouth causing her to moan loudly. He nipped at her nipple and then soothed the spot with his tongue. When he was done he gave the same treatment to her twin. As he was pleasuring her, Sheridan let her hand travel to his manhood. Her hand closed over his aroused manhood and he immediately bucked his hips toward her. She then began to stroke him. He looked at her with smoldering eyes and he grinned as his hands made their way south and rested at the juncture of her thighs. He then lowered himself and spread her legs apart. As he held on to her hips, his tongue flicked over her nub, worrying the sensitive flesh of it. She clawed her nails in his back and held him to her with all her strength. "Luisssssss!!!!" she yelled as his tongue licked her. Luis loved this. She tasted so sweet, so good. He kissed her entrance and slipped his tongue inside her He began to thrust slowly, but with each of her moans, he increased the pace. She held his head to her, driving his tongue further inside. She lifted her bottom to meet his mouth and moved frantically against him. "Oh Godddd!!!" She didn't know how much more she could take. She wanted him to be buried deep inside her when she went over the edge so she brought him back up to her lips and flipped them over once again. She then lowered her head and traced his erect manhood with the tip of it with her tongue. Then, she very slowly lowered her mouth down the length of him slowly. She began moving her mouth over him. She could feel him getting harder in her mouth by the second. Luis moaned and held her head to him, bucking his hips gently to drive himself further inside her mouth. "Oh Sheridan! hmmmmm! Yes, just like that." He moaned as she worked her magic. She began to suck him and he knew he couldn't take much more. He pulled her back up and urged her mouth to his in a desperate kiss. His eyes locked with hers and he asked her if she was sure. He was too perfect she thought. "Yes," she said and with that he pushed her legs apart and entered her. Her body tensed and she gasped as he slid into her, and whimpered when he penetrated even deeper inside her body. It had been so long. "Am I hurting you," Luis said his eyes full of concern. "No, keep going," she said between ragged breaths. Gazing down at her body, he began moving his body against hers. He lifted his head, his gaze locking with hers again as he started to move faster and harder into her. He watched the tension and pleasure build on her face, her body tightening as she arched her hips harder against his. Her chest heaving beneath his, Luis entwined his hands with hers and pinned them above her head. His hot mouth descended on her cleavage and he trailed licks until he reached the aroused perked peak. He twirled his tongue around her and, the pleasure building inside of her suddenly shattered. She cried out his name and clung to him as the explosive climax over took her body, sending her reeling off the edge. She felt his body tense and then a second later, he called out her name as his own climax hit. She rubbed her hands along his back as he collapsed on top of her, spent. "Wow," was all she could say. Luis gently kissed her and pulled her into his arms. They whispered together I love you as they drifted into slumber.
Chapter 9
The next morning Sheridan woke up in Luis' arms. Her head rested on his strong chest and she listened to the beating of his heart. Things were perfect now that they had declared there love. They could be together now. She felt Luis begin to stir and looked up at him. "Morning beautiful," he said. "Morning handsome." Yes, it was a good morning.
After a long shower full of passionate love making, Sheridan sat Luis down to talk to him. "Luis, Ethan doesn't understand what we have. He didn't know. I want you to come back and live with me. None of what happened to me was ever your fault. The guy had my wallet. He knew where I lived. You had nothing to do with him coming into my apartment, but you had everything to do with stopping him from raping me and for that I am extremely grateful. Luis I love you so much and I want you to come home with me. We can make Ethan see that we need each other." After Sheridan had made her speech Luis just stared at her. She was beginning to wonder if she was to forward. What if he didn't need her as much as she needed him? So she added "well I hope you need me." He was still quiet. Sheridan wondered if he was thinking about last night and this morning. What if he regretted making love? She couldn't deal with another heartbreak. She had already had to many in her short life. With every passing thought she became more worried and soon her eyes were filled with tears. Finally Luis spoke. "Sheridan, I love you so much. I think I have since day one. I do need you, more than you'll ever know. I want to go back, but Ethan said some things that hit pretty hard. He was saying how I used you for your money. That I was just a bum. Now I can suck up my pride, look pass that and go back, but I got to thinking. I can't live on your money. It's wrong. You worked hard for that money and I'm taking it. From now on I'm gonna pay rent and help with the groceries, the gas, everything. I'm gonna put some in the bank too. That way I'll be able pay for the wedding band I want to get you and for the children's toys and clothes and even their diapers." By now tears were streaming down Sheridan's face. He wanted to marry her. He wanted to have children with her. It was more than she could hope for and she told him so.
The drive home was silent, but they held hands giving each other the strength to face Ethan. When they pulled into the driveway they gave each other a short kiss and got out. As they opened the door they saw a sleeping Ethan on the couch. Sheridan's foot hit a table waking him from his slumber. When he saw Sheridan he jumped up and gave her a fierce hug. "Where did you go last night? I was so worried. Thank God your all right." Luis could see that even if he didn't like Ethan, he respected him because he cared for Sheridan. When Ethan turned his attention to Luis all he could say was "You!!!" That's when Sheridan intervened. She sat Ethan down and told him what Luis and her had talked about. In the end Ethan said he didn't like it, but he would learn to accept it for Sheridan's sake because he loved her so much.
Ethan took a shower and packed so he could make his flight, but before he left he told Luis that if he broke her heart he would pay. Luis gave him his word and he left. Luis would always make her happy.
~7 months later~
Luis sat up in bed to find Sheridan gone. As he lay there he thought about the past couple of months. The law firm had grown tremendously. It was know well-known one of the best in New York City. He had been transferred to another branch of it so he didn't work in the same building as Sheridan anymore, but in a way it was good because when he called her or came home it made it all the more better. Luis decided he missed the warm body next to his so he got up to find her. Luis found Sheridan in the kitchen humming to the song on the radio while she made breakfast. As he listened to the song he knew it was made for them. It described them perfectly.
Can't get enough of this everyday love
Can't get enough of this everyday love
Each morning the sun shines through my window
Lands on the face of a dream come true
I shuffle to the kitchen for my coffee
And catch on the front page morning news
Then she walks up behind me
And throws her arms around my neck
Just another moment I've come to expect
It's ordinary, plain and simple
Typical this everyday
Same old, Same old
Keepin' it new
Emotional so familiar
Nothin' about it to peculiar
Oh, but I can't get enough
Of this everyday love
Every afternoon I make a phone call
Listen to the voice that warms my heart
I drag myself through a few more hours
And head on home to try and beat the dark
Her smile will be right there
When I step through that door
And it'll be that way tomorrow
Just like everyday before
It's ordinary, plain and simple
Typical this everyday
Same old, Same old
Keepin' it new
Emotional so familiar
Nothin' about it to peculiar
Oh, but I can't get enough
Of this everyday love
Wouldn't change one single thing about it
Nnnnoooo
It's run of the mill
Still I can't live without it
It's ordinary, plain and simple
Typical this everyday
Same old, Same old
Keepin' it new
Emotional so familiar
Nothin' about it to percuilar
Oh, but I can't get enough
Can't get enough
Of this everyday love
Yeahh, of this everyday love
Can't get enough
Of this everyday love
Can't get enough
Of this everyday love
Can't get enough
Of this everyday love
Can't get enough
Of this everyday

When the song ended Luis made his presence know by coughing. Sheridan turned around and threw her arms around him. She was particularly happy because she had something very important to tell Luis. What she didn't know was Luis had something to ask her. Luis sat down and pulled Sheridan into his lap. Then he gave her slow and passionate kiss letting her know just how much he loved her. Then he looked her in the eyes and started to speak. "Sheridan from the first time I met you I knew I loved you. I knew you were the one I wanted to spend my life with and I would be honored if you would be my wife." With that he got down on one knee and took a ring out of his bathrobe pocket. "So Sheridan Crane will you be my wife and make me the happiest man alive?" Sheridan was in tears. She was the luckiest woman alive. "Yess," she said as she threw her arms around him. As he slipped the ring on her finger she pulled him into a passionate kiss and helped him stand up. "Luis you have no idea how happy you've made me, but I have something to tell you. Luis your going to be a daddy in 6 months. We're having a baby." Luis just stood there in shock. How did he get to be so lucky? He picked her up and spun her around. He was so excited.
They decided to have the wedding after the baby was born so Sheridan could have her figure back. Time flew for them. One day they were newly engaged and the next they were holding a baby girl in their arms. Little Pamela Ann Lopez-Fitzgerald was born on March 1 at 4:00 in the morning. She became the light of their lives.
Before they knew it the big day had come. They were standing in front of the altar getting married. Some turned to ask Ethan how they had met and all he could say was "Love blooms from strange places."
The End!
